There was a lot of issues with the team. IIRC the original team split and the Old Plot/Game was a mess. So the new team basically remade everything, but they are all Russian/Ukrainian and lets say the war caused issues. Tbh the art and writing is dope, they are communicative and seriously have gotten more consistent at progress having now nearly remade everything.
The team is a lot more serious now, but if progress is this slow once they move onto the New Plot completely, oh man.
I wouldn't support them until updates are more frequent or larger, but I would say ironically they are in a better position than say the Summertime Saga team. Something I never would have thought before the StS Tech Update palaver.
Now, be reasonable, STS is a money milker, but at least it had a decent amount of content. I don't like their art (as opposed to IW), don't like the writing, don't like any of it, really, but give them that at least.
Meanwhile IW was a scam to begin with with some good art to lure fools. The art is really good, but it took them what, 6+ fucking years to start on the scenes? And even that only after even the most dim of their supporters started to suspect something. And now it's back to 22k a month from several support platforms with fucking zilch to show for it.

There are so many scenes in the preview images I can't find in game; has there been an update that stripped a lot of content or something? Some of the scenes look great, but the gallery has maybe two I can find?

Im personally tired of games and VN that directly jump to fucking. If i wanted that i would rather search for some R34 CG pack or hentai. The fact the MC has to do a whole bunch of stuff to get close to sniffing them adds to the immersion. I dont care if they are getting lots of money compared to other projects there is worse shit going on in the AAA game industry at least on this projects the money goes to the few people actually involved in making the game.
If you want immersion then play this game, if you liked it support it, if not then go to other games if I give money to them is because the entertainment i got from it its worth it from my perspective.
TLDR: Too many ppl bitching about developers nowadays.

The thing is, this game is hours and hours of gameplay for nothing. Dude is making a 2d porn game for almost 10 years and made like 1 sex scene.
I understand your point but that also is a problem with lots of parody games, once you get to fuck the girl/s its like the game turns into a check list of fetishes, vaginal, anal, blowjob, etc. With parodies I prefer a detailed story with some porn instead of detailed porn with a bit of crumpled story.
For immersion this game is on the top, for a quick fap not really.
