Is there any way to change the font or the transparency from the text box?
If I want to see all I have middle mouse button. There is no need for a transparent text box. Personally I have problems to read like this.

Hey guys.. I reached this point in the game.. but whenever I invite Minerve I cant talk to her about the meetings.. and also I cant invite Hermione for a "tea", and also when I flipped her skirt there was an error.. but that is not important that much. My question is about how to progess further.

that route doesn't work at moment, you have to take shadow route when talking to painting... why they didn't block off the route is beyond me.. I too got the crash. However even after i got past this broken hurdle i soon got to another one, involving the swimsuits and the hat madness.. getting crash after crash with that... not simple renpy crash either but an actual "Oops our game is broken" flash screen by the devs.. asking me to report it to patreon or discord etc etc... I was , till last week a patreon of their's but after the time it took to release this update and the un-tested mess it is in i have withdrew my donation.. dev needs to shape up if they want my money.
Honestly, what does "alpha version" mean to you ? It's expected that it's full of bugs, that's the point of an alpha !
For people blocked with Luna's scene, I won't post the full file here, but I did a dirty fix in the luna_dialogues file, send me a PM and I'll give it to you. (dirty as in menu options show that should not show, but it works)

The point is that devs took 2 additional weeks after release deadline day to "test bugs" themselves. And the question is "What was the whole point of this 2 weeks of testing if the game is barely playable?"
Just started this game and trying to follow a guide which talks about the prefects papers but I only have Hermione's... how do I get the others?
Can someone please send his save file?I really don't wanna grind all over again for one single scene. 
Buy the Fleur de Oplus from Boni Bodka and drag it to your desk to split it. You get the atomizer from that split and that's what you give Snape.

This is exactly my point.. I know it's an alpha but still, I'm not continuing to pay good money to test there alphas for them.. you have to pay 20 dollars a month to play the alpha on patreon, and they are earning 12 thousand dollars a month to make it... that is six time more cash than average wage where i come from, and in Russia I'm pretty sure they live like kings on that kinda cash.. so... they should either give out alphas free to get the testing done, which they don't.. sites like this have to pirate it, or pay play testers...

I can't help but wonder how much time it took to make the advanced animations.
And for what, a 2GB DLC that requires some fairly good graphics card to run.
And the only thing that it contains is one smooth scene with Susan and two main menu screens with parallax, one of which I don't remember ever seeing. Like seriously, has anyone ever seen a main menu screen with Hermione teasing the viewer at night? I don't... Maybe they're adding a feature that changes the title screen depending on the clock on your pc... Wouldn't surprise me coming from these guys...

Is there a concrete reason why you wouldn't just slap on some GIF or webm in there and call it a day?
It's just a standart 30fps animation (hella smooth doe) in the case of Susan, and the title screen... Do you really need all that fancy stuff for a screen most people don't even look at for more than 5 seconds?
Even then, don't webp images support transparency? I've heard that just converting a png to webp without lossy compression reduces the size a fair bit.
Regardless, if you continue with this I hope you find a better way to implement it.
Large download and high gpu usage would probably deter a lot of people, even patrons i assume.

Whenever you want so sell bad quality product - you must have a shiny looking wrap that will divert attention.
I guess this is basicaly for new people who just installed this game for a first time and it must impress 'em like "damn this animated menu sceen looks good, the game should be promising!".
P.S. But i personaly liked it. It looks... fresh?.. Like after many many many playthroughs, i simply got used to static walls of text and nothing besides it. So it just felt fresh and alive. I even forgot for a second that this game has almost nothing new to offer for an old player.
