...I agree with you that the game is good, but the devs just keep trying to make it longer by making missions and minigames be painfully slow.
Parts of it are just amazing, yeah.
It's not even grinding ("do shit X times to get points up"). That is annoying but I can deal... it's the unnecessary UI interaction.
Take the swimsuit mission. Even once you figure out what the hell is actually going on (i.e. look it up in the walkthrough, since the in-game text is confusing af), the implementation is awful. You have to go to the girls rooms about 20 times, and each time it's: wake up, owl, recipient, McGonagall, clock, "wait for shit to happen", open door, yes I fucking said open door, chat/handshake thingie, accompany...... then you get what you'd expect, selecting a girl/visiting room/stealing her shit (although when you get there you might be screwed because you had too much shit in your inventory and the game considers swimsuits underwear so you can't tell exactly which garment you need to steal and there is no way to dump it, so repeat the whole cycle the next day). Then after that more unnecessary clicks: Click the hat, shit that didn't work, click the inventory, drag the thing to the hat, a bunch of clicks why he processes the panties or whatever, close that, clock->end day->"It is too early to end the day"->goddamit->clock->waste a few hours->clock->end day->REPEAT.
