It starts like that for about 10-15mins of game play to really build up the story. Once you go to the trailer park girl, shit pops off, and then the 'real' game starts. I do think the intro and starting masturbation stuff should go a litttle faster or just SUPER trim thee dialogue. But it's all verrry story relevant and gives you thee basis of the why, how, and who.
I do think the intro could be trimmed a bit, or have an option to skip it and get an abridged series of scenes that convey all the info needed. Damn I should write for these games (Cuz I suck at Daz and Blender lol).
