A good strategy is to focus on 1 enemy at a time and spam them with fast attacks until they're stunned. Once stunned spam them with heavies till the stun runs out.
Whenever they use a grope attack you can afterwards hit them with a heavy, and it will always land since they don't have a way to parry.
Lastly, don't forget to use bandages whenever you're low, as it's pretty easy to make them.
I encountered a weird issue where the game immediately crashes whenever I use fast attack. Although It doesn't always seem to happen. I do have the knuckles equipped so that might be a part of the reason?
Looking at the logs this is the error I get:
USER ERROR: Node not found: "slash-fast" (relative to "/root/SE").
at: get_node (scene/main/node.cpp:1792)
That is an interesting error, undesired, but curious . It would mean that for some reason, it failed to fetch the stream player for the "slash-fast" sound effect. This is extremely odd, as you said it only happens sometimes, but the stream player exists for the whole time the game is running and it should always be the same for that specific sound effect, so being able to call it sometimes and others not is very weird.
I'll investigate it, might have something to do with the knuckles as you said, since it uses some divergent logic to apply its effect.
Here's a 100% save file with all 30 scenes for version 0.90
I may or may not update this post in the future and include a new full save whenever the game updates.
Please make sure you downloaded v0.90 through Mediafire or Itch like eroism noted.
Save files are located in: C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\insect-prison
All that needs to be done is to copy and paste the save file into the save folder.
(Make sure to load save 5 as that is where the full save is)
Advanced notes for those who want to edit the game's save files:
(Backup your game save before doing any editing.)
Not sure if its a bug or not (i was using an earlyer save, and it had bugs) so i decided to start a new game and the "new game" button does nothing. just makes a clicking sound

Scenes are saved very similarly to how the items in the inventory are saved, except that the value is a dummy and only the key word matters .
also not sure but this scene appears to be stuck in long animation mode (mine is off in settings) but it takes like 90 seconds of skipping foward to get through it.
happens when you fail/fall running away from dogs.

Well caught, yes it was extended by mistake when I did the refactoring of all the scenes' code. I guess I forgot to re-adjust this one and now its repeating the stage like 30 times before actually finishing .
It is indeed related. Just confirmed it and basically I changed the ID of the sound effect, but forgot to update on the Knuckles divergent logic . It will be fixed with the next version.

Currently I accept donations via the Itch page, unfortunately I'm not aware if it is possible to donate in there from a CIS nation.
For the pregnancy mechanic I'm considering 2 options, in regards to the persistence of the pregnancies.
A semblance of "first cum, first birthed", as in, Leah will only incubate the earliest set of eggs and all newer ones are "expelled" because she is full, until she births those, then she can incubate a new set.
Leah accumulates all eggs and just births them in the order they appeared, without limits.
The first case would be easier to handle and require less new CG work, while the second would be a bit more complicated, if I were to take it seriously. I might be more tempted to save the second case for another title.
Regarding the time and birth scene triggering, yes I think it would be something like that. Probably I would use the daily actions, and set each pregnancy for X actions of incubation, then trigger the corresponding birth scene when the limit is up.
There was a suggestion for the Parasite Worms to serve as a form of "birth control", they might feed on the eggs and prevent incubation, for example. I'm inclined in going trough that route, albeit I'm not yet sure on this.

I didnt think that way jajaja it is a good one, along being able to reproduce inside her no? and will be there changes in the protagonist if she has many inside?
Thanks for the answer

I'll attempt to fix this by the next version.
Hello Elfartsparkle, that image is from the Wharf Roach (Forced) scene. Check out the

It would be interesting to allow the Parasite Worms to reproduce, that would give an interesting way for continuing the Big Worm event. The well put part of that idea would be that the worm only evolves after consuming a few eggs, and then the worm it self reproduces and goes away, or something akin to that. At least in draft it looks like an interesting idea .
I tested the performance effect of the "Preload Anims" setting and I'll share the results so you can have a better idea if you want to enable the setting or not.
On gist the idea is that "Preload Anims" will preload all images of a scene at the start, which uses more video memory and may take a bit longer to start the scene, but then the transitions between stages are smooth, because all images are already loaded.
While the default behavior is to only load the images that the stage needs, which slows down the transition between each stage, however occupies way less memory, specially if you end the scene early.
For the test I used the Parasite Beast (Consent) scene, with the following specs:
My conclusion is that, although this is not precise science and graphics cards are way more complicated than this, I would suggest to use the "Preload Anims" setting when the graphics card has more than 1 Gb of VRAM (or in the case of shared video memory, you have enough RAM to spare), otherwise you are probably better off with the option set to OFF.
Also if your CPU is very fast, you will probably prefer having the setting OFF, because the time between transitions will probably be too small to matter, so the best gains for this are on the low end devices according to my tests.
I also don't know how exactly this translates to Android, so I'm not sure the result is exactly the same.

A parasite feeds on its host internal nutrients, and what better way for it to feed on the eggs that get dumped into leah is the logic i came from when i made that suggestion to you.
I think the parasite scenes in the game are one of the most underdeveloped and that is why i really hope it gets expanded on in the future.

I didn't expect to learn more about Game Development in an H Game forum, yet here we are and I'm having a blast reading the comments lmao.
Happy 2nd Advent Eroism! ^^

I agree, I think both the Parasite Worm and the Mosquito events could use some finishing scenes and touches. Most other scenes are quite finalized, except for those, in my opinion. Not having a follow up scene for the Big Worm was a sad deception for me at first .
Thank you for letting me know, I indeed forgot to edit it so the counters would update the pregnancy stat on those scenes. I'll have it set correctly by the next version .

Thank you for the wishes! I hope you also enjoy your festivities and/or holidays .
If someone is having both a good fap and a good read with the game, then I would say those are 2 good wins .
As a side note, we're trying to prepare 2 or 3 small surprises for the next release. Hopefully, I'll be able to release it on the correct date, fingers crossed.
