If a game's gameplay sucks, by all means point it out. If a game has bad graphics, poor writing, grindy mechanics, crash bugs, etc, complain away. Inside Jen isn't perfect. While I'm a huge fan of IJ's choice-driven story flexibility, I agree with those that think it could use a few more impactful choices in certain early spots.

But those who complain about Jen being the MC, or Jen being more interested in carnal sex then romance, or that the other characters are mainly there to try to have sex with her might as well be complaining that Doom has too much shooting and is too violent. Go play a different kind of game that better suits your tastes! Inside Jen is an interactive novel with a Female main character who gets exposed to a ton of corrupting influences. You decide how far and in what ways she goes down that sexual rabbit hole. And then you watch what happens :devilish: If any part of that description bothers you, you clearly weren't paying attention when you chose to download it. And now you're just wasting everyone's time by pointing out core design aspects that will not be changing.

I've been playing too many slow burns lately, so I really appreciate this game. The writing/plot are just good enough to keep it from being a mindless fuckfest, but this game never tries to be anything more than a fun sex romp.

Do I think it could be tweaked? Yes. Do I wish it was a little slower, and not so fast to jump into sex? Sometimes. But overall this has been a great experience! We get good quality updates at a very reasonable interval. There's not much more I can ask for.

It's also nice as a woman to play a FMC that isn't impossibly naive!

Idk tbh In my opinion I dont understand why people are looking for romance in a porno game in the first place. Its porno and sex not a soap opera. A good story can separate a good game from a bad 1 and this 1 has a relatively good story along with the good graphics. But romance in a porn game is just boring to me. I'd rather see a girl get hate fucked by her worst enemy haha. But thats just me.
Fellow Jesse Lee Peterson fan perhaps?

That's right, romance quickly becomes boring here. Most games are made by men for men. If there is a male MC, he fucks his way through the whole game and in the end has the choice between a harem and his main love, who of course has lesbian tendencies. In the end he has corrupted all the women (turned them into sluts or whores), is superior to all the other characters in the game and gets away with it.
If we are dealing with a female MC, the task of the game is to turn her into a slut and/or whore. Again, besides the sexual entertainment of the player, one of the goals of the game is to give the player the feeling of superiority. At the end it is said - "What a slut, she fucks everyone". After all, the player should feel good!
You won't find a female heroine who gets all the men in the game laid and then remains just as much a hero as a man in the same position would be in the game.
Because let's be honest such a woman would be a force of nature, and such women we would never be able to bind to us for a long time in real life. And that is why we are not interested in such constellations.
That's why there is always the same chain of events in games with female main characters.

My only mistake is I didnt read this. "Complete remake of "Corrupting Jennifer". This includes updated character models, completely new locations and switching from RPG maker to Ren'Py."
It was already written in the developer notes that it was a Corruption game, but I didn't look at it.
I just looked at the overview and downloaded the game. And this game is not Kinetic Novel but you can't completely make every decision. Not everything is avoidable. And I already said it's a nice game for corruption and blackmail.

I kind off agree with your assessment.
Though i like to share my thoughts.

I am highly interested in female MC stories that go a different direction.
What i would like to see, is the cruel world as it is. A story perhaps of a women that wants a better life that ends up in being trafficked and forced into sex labor.
It is kind of a reality for many in the real world. For a sex game this could be tweaked but i think i enjoy either nice stories or really dark ones.
Most games i downloaded tell a story of some form of corruption where the female ends up putting on skimpy clothes and become a slut. Blackmail is also used but seems to be from the game mechanics rather silly often.
Plus, that fits the narrative for most, females love then to suck off any dude or spread their legs.
Like a realization that she always had it in her and just through the circumstances discovered it.

There are, of course, two thoughts. One is the fantasy game world where the story is told for an audience of males. The other would be a more realistic portrayal of how a story can evolve.

There are apparently many games that have a prostitution tag, but there are not many that actually show the life of a prostitution. FemLife is one game that kind of brings you to that but its rather a choice than need. Though i have to be honest, i could not image a story myself.
I did, however, liked the premise of Fashion Business as it lets you experience the fall from grace but it did not really capture the real downfall as the character is able to keep an easy way back into high society life where she has to make compromises.

For Inside Jennifer, i think the story is pretty good for a sex game. You can chose a path to your liking but you will taken advantage off.

Personally, i do not like harem games. I am repelled to play games that have this tag. Most male centered games where you play as male MC i do not like either, because you see your self most of the time. I have a problem connecting with male MC's.

And then there are games like Young Again that have a theme that is used often with spirits but you can have a rather nice relationship with the female actors and still have sex.
But in the end it depends on the dev and the audience. There is a reason why some games have huge followers where other do not.

And to the last point. Females conquering all males. I think it could be possible but i think it would not have a huge following. Most users are male. I think that is why i never really understood Skyrim playing as female and adventuring around. Because you want the female to get fucked but at the same time fight the fucking dragon.
But we do play males that are so great and can turn any female into a obedient slave of her own will.

I rather wonder at the moment, when an update is coming.

Thanks for her response. Just two thoughts on her contribution.
Fashion Business: For me a game so that men can live out their repressed thoughts of revenge against women. There are more brutal games but I find this the most shameful.
Females conquering all males: I can only remember one game that I think went in this direction. It had the very contradictory title "The Humbling Experience" and was unfortunately canceled.

Well, i hope i did not trigger something.
Most just live out their perverted inner selves because they can not live them out in real. So its a good escapist path.
I always thought FB is a relatively modest game but everyone is different.
Since i am not in female domination, i did not look for the other title.
Though, i could envision to be dominated in real. It maybe quiet pleasurable.
Like with all things, you need two that like the same fetish.
Anyway, to me, there are not really a lot of games i would rate personally high for my fetishes. Most games have a couple, maybe a few but not all of them. Its always a compromise.
To me IJ is a great title because i can imagine to be Jennifer and enjoy what she is doing. Again, this is not for everyone. I rarely read that someone plays a vanilla path. And i think it is because we all have dark fetishes buried within us, that we do not express normally to anyone. Stay true to yourself. I admit that i like these fetishes as sick as they maybe.
In real life i think we have to have partners with whom we can agree what fetish we want to experience together. Roleplay is a great way to do that.
If you play as male you may not emphasize with the female. But it maybe not what people want to think about. Dunno.

Someone mentioned already but yeah complaining/pointing out technical or plot/character issues are fine and are all well and good for discussion but when it goes to complaining about FMC or MMC it's... Well really hard to work with that in the first place since that's a preference issue in the same light as going into a full gay porn game and complaining that it wasn't developed with straight dominated content in mind.

You have not triggered anything, I had already said everything I had to say about it in my first post.
That so few play the "vanilla path" is mostly because it needs for good eroticism a long way, a lot of imagination and a good story. And even such a path can touch fetishes that are really "perverse". But most gamers don't have the patience for that, the developer wants to earn money and it's really hard work. And makes needs talent and only a few are blessed with it.

Absolutely.
I was looking into making a game but i think i am the wrong person. No asperation, no consistency. discipline? Oh my. And i just think i have no good story to tell. Ideas, yes but that is not enough.
So i am ok to be the consumer. I can not ask for much.
Like i said, some games are really good but for me, the games i really love, they got mostly abandoned. Sad, but that what happens.
Though i think there is path for vanilla but teasing or if you will, eroticisms, should not be too long. My worst example would be AWAM. There is simply not much happening.
I think, i am not the audience for endless nothing. Some games are very long and to be engage, it has to be good and draw you in. I mostly end up starting a game, i like it, but then somewhere down the line it loses its mojo. The reason you originally played it.

Personally, as a guy, I think the main appeal of female MC games is getting to see a hot girl having sex with a wider variety of partner types. The vast majority of male MC games around here feature the same young, handsome, and fit type of caucasian guy with shampoo-commercial hair. Basically Jen's boyfriend Mark. It's understandable that most games would use a MC like that since it plays to a majority of the player base's fantasy self-image and makes the romance, seduction, or harem-gathering slightly more believable. Believable but boring.

It's why a lot of video game main protagonists are "guy with dark hair." The self insertion is easier that way. It's boring, too.

Thats why like ugly guys of all ages.
In this game you can have sex with the taxi driver. He is definitely does not have shampoo hair from the commercials.
For the most part, i think its true though and it is probably because every horny male wants to see some image of himself or the image he thinks of himself.
So yes, that is why most male MC looks Adonis and have a sex drive like Eros and the endurance of Atlas.
In fantasy characters can have a pretty nice adventuress life. Unlike the real life.
Marc left me when i told him to fuck off.
I think that is why i like Jimmy. Slob and nasty to the heart.
