Considering giving the game a go, but I'm just wondering what to expect. I get the fact that the MC is dominant, and that the focus of the story is netori and power fantasy, but does she ever run into real challenges? In other words: is she a Mary Sue, or are there situations where she can end up being dicked, metaphorically or literally?
The whole plot is about how many problems have fallen on her, especially in the past, and how she lives with it. At the present moment, she is conducting her own investigation, which is connected with dangerous people, and has already been kidnapped once, although without consequences.

Well, she was knocked out with a bat once
Does that count?
It kinda does, in a way, but not really. No matter, thank you for answering my question. Dom-MC is cool, in and of itself, though I appreciate the opportunity for fem-protags/futa-protags to experience dominance loss. Especially the strong ones. It's a kink. Still, I look forward to giving the game a go. Thanks, man.

So you're saying if the fem mc doesn't get fucked in the game, she's a Mary Sue?
Got it. noted-safehouse.gif

In that case, Jade isn’t just a Mary Sue — she’s Jade Skywalker. :HideThePain:

Eh, it wasn't really meant as criticism, but a metaphor to get my point across without the post turning into a wall of text. I haven't played the game yet, so I had no other way of appraising the game than to look at the screenshots, tags and the abstract. The MC is futa, dominant, looks quite buff and gives the impression of being a "no nonsense"-character. If there's no way for her to fail, and her power level is already maxed out, then yes she is indeed a Mary Sue. Though that, in and of itself, isn't necessarily a bad thing. The game looks good and I want to give it a try.

I had to find out what the term Mary Sue is, as it turns out in my country there is no equivalent of such a term...
And MC doesn't look like it from what I understand.

The MC has definite Mary Sue traits, but it's not as egregious as in some games. She's no-nonsense strong dominant etc., but she has made mistakes and has regrets that she lives with. The second half or so of the current game leaves a bit more room for her to be vulnerable and fallible, making her a slightly more rounded character albeit still within the same mold.

It's a VN certainly offering 'bad' choices to the MC such as screwing Maddison. And the ramifications of other choices such as killing her kidnappers, or not, are a long way from being settled. I was playing through this from the beginning, as each episode was released, then realised that I had missed out on a fair bit of content by careless choices. I'm so glad I came back and played from the beginning. It's not only the best Futa game on the site - I think - but one of the best AVNs out there. The script is on point. So are the expressions. The scenes with Anna Grace in the gym are just fabulous for both humour and tension.

Mmm I don't know, you see a Mary sue, I see a mature woman who has lived a life full of ups and downs, problems at school, fights, her childhood love left with her brother who bothered her, her mother imposed on her personality, she was kicked out of her house very young having to defend and fend for herself, and there is still her past plot to be seen, but those are the things that taught her to be the person she is now with her virtues and flaws.

If you want to see the fall and failures in Jade's life, then our dear Dev Kind Nightmares could go back and compose a plot with a prologue for you where - Jade will have a fall, and bullying from her brother at school and his friends against her...
and a bitch of a mother who reproached her own daughter for the fact that she was born with a thing between her legs and tried to raise her as a woman, which she then kicked out of the house, do you want me to continue further? I'm sure you don't want to know...

Look at it from Jade's perspective, she's just starting out and is unfolding her story.
My advice to you is to play the game and enjoy the great futa story.;)

All the things mentioned makes great sense, and I don't really need the MC to fall. Sure, I freely admit that I enjoy games and stories where fem/futa-protag dominance loss is a thing, but I'm quite able to play and enjoy games with different plots, without demanding changes. When I wrote my posts I still hadn't actually played the game, so I didn't know how the story played out, or what kind of character MC was, though I was curious and eager to know. That was my whole motivation for asking. No more, no less. I feel like I have to make that clear, and that I'm not just having a hissy fit.
As of writing this post I've gotten to chapter 2. I do wonder how my different choices so far will affect the story down the road (I just say yes to everything...because I'm a greedy perv), but so far I do enjoy the game. I do, personally, find the MC at times to be a bit unlikeable, but at least she's not uninteresting or without personality. The writing is good, and the renders are well made. Will definitely continue playing.
