They are talking about the graphic engine VAM I guess, I'm not sure since this is the only game I play made with VirtAMate IIRC, it is also the same with Honey Select games, copyright issues.

I will always be glad of Jade as a protagonist and KindNightmares as a developer who developed a Futa game different from the norm of coward, secret hiding, submissive, teenage masturbating in bathroom pervert, where the Futa is out and proud of their identity, not giving a damn about who thinks of them like a freak when they learn their truth or acts like a teenage pervert that gets a hardon upon merely seeing boobs or touching a woman. Whatever other issues I may have with Jade.
I am glad KN didn't go that route because that allowed them to pursue a different much mature path of storyline than spending the entirety of game hiding if they are a futa. Like no one can blackmail Jade with that nonsense of "Do this for me or I will tell everyone you are a Futa." Like Jade will say " go ahead" and then punch the blackmailer black and blue.

Funny thing on another site I actually prefer a bit more I saw a negative review of this game where the main complaint was exactly about Jade. The person said the biggest issue was that she doesn't reflect on being a futanari in a world where people hate and don't understand futanari. That she doesn't seem to struggle with it, doesn't try to hide it. And also, that she acts too much like a guy and isn't feminine enough.
How is a Futanari supposed to act? Futanari aren't real. And if Futas are considered perfect Hermaphrodites, than they should exhibit a balance of masculine and feminine behaviors. And Jade does that. Why should she hide? Isn't that why the concept of LGBTQ+ Pride exists? So that they don't have to hide their identity and live their life out and proud despite the horrible bigotry of LGBTQphobes? Bigots never understand anyone different than them. Why should Jade live in fear of unreasonable hatred of Bigots?
