What's next?
Hello everyone, I’m finally back home, and in the next few days—most likely on Monday—I’ll get back to work. But for now, I want to say a few words about the ending of Instinct Unleashed, what comes next, and also update you on subscriptions.
I’m fully satisfied with how I chose to end the game, despite all the negative “feedback.” Though honestly, it’s hard to even call most of it feedback.
Instinct Unleashed was my very first experience with everything—from writing the story and coding to creating endings. I know very well that I made mistakes. But I don’t regret for a second making the game exactly as it turned out.
I always wanted to see futanari-protagonist games treated with more seriousness, maturity, and sometimes even darkness. I understand that’s not for everyone. What makes me a little sad is when my vision of my own game is criticized as if I was forcing it on someone.
Honestly, I thought a niche genre like this would mostly attract people ready to go all the way together with the author. But it turned out the audience is more diverse—and that’s fine. Still, I’m glad there were people who enjoyed the game exactly in the way I intended.
I really did consider making one more epilogue for Instinct Unleashed. But now, after closing the story, I’ve realized I don’t want to return to this world anytime soon. Not because of negative reviews—I deeply appreciate and remember all the warm words many of you have written and continue to write. On the contrary: it’s precisely out of respect for those who supported me all this time that I’m choosing to pause. I don’t want to rush out a sloppy epilogue just for the sake of more porn scenes.
If I ever return to IU, it will only be when I’m sure I can create a truly worthy final chapter or epilogue—something that will satisfy those who genuinely love the game and respect my work, not those who lash out in anger because they didn’t get what they wanted.
Right now, it’s far more important for me to focus on Undawn—a project I want to make even stronger and more cohesive, learning from and correcting the mistakes of Instinct Unleashed.
Lately, there’s also been news that some Subscribestar pages of NSFW creators are being blocked for explicit incest content. I don’t know if this is a bug or part of the ongoing crackdown on NSFW content, but I don’t want to risk my own page. That’s why all links and materials for Instinct Unleashed will be removed. The game will remain available via direct download links in Discord and on Boosty. The Boosty link will be open to everyone and won’t require a subscription.
I also made a fix for Chapter 14 bug. Just drop it into the game folder.
