VN - Ren'Py - Intertwined [v0.12.3] [Nyx]

Easily now, one of my favorites. Came for the fap and stayed for the story as they say. I was extremely hooked as of v0.5, and honestly upset when the update was over. Will be watching for updates on this in the near future.

So far this is a good VN. Story has purpose, and the characters aren't one dimensional. As mentioned, the choices need to have meaning. The MC is supposedly carrying a grudge and when given the opportunity to express his anger, frustration, or betrayal, it goes no where when you chose to do so. I do however like this VN. I even recommend giving this one a play through. Keep up the good work. Looking forward to where things go with the next update.

Its very rare for me to feel this frustrated when a chapter (update) ends. It was a great cliffhanger. I just started this yesterday and ate it up. I am surprised how deep I got into it. I had such a turn around on my opinion of Lexi and Erryn so quickly, That is the Dev doing their job here. I am going to be impatiently waiting for the next update, Renders are very good overall. Writing is solid. I usually give something criticism, but I dont have much. Thanks for a very good story!

In short: this is a pretty decent, but very un-unique game.

The game looks good. Most renders have lots of detail. Faces, hair and eyes look realistic. English is flawless and the conversations are often believable... but also kinda boring.

And that's exactly what started to annoy me after a while. Even though everything looks quite good, there is not one aspect in this game that makes it original from other games.

You have litterally seen it all before: standard school setting, hot single mom, hot single neighbor with hot daughter that both look the same age, hot teacher, hot principal, standard goofy best friend that strikes out on all the girls while they all magically fall in love with you, random hot stranger that 'accidentally' turns out to work at your new favourite bar, etc.

I found that the endless string of clichés and 'perfect' looking models started to get boring after a while. But if you don't care about that this is a pretty good game with beautiful renders.

One last thing: the animations are... there. At the start of the game they're pretty bad but they get better with each update. So that's promising for the future.

Never played this until now (v0.5) and I almost hate myself. Best graphics - no, best animations - no, but that is to not say they are not top notch. The story and the cleverness in the plot is one of the best things I've seen on this site. The models are gorgeous and not overdone (imo) and the story is fairly believable - intertwined (perfect name for this one) - which is fairly rare in this genre. I was totally blown away. Dev earned a patron today... wonderful VN!

I played this game starting with version 0.5 so enough content to keep my interest.
For me a really good game with really nice renders, great story twists and fun
Looking forward to the next update

First rate game, well worth a play through. Great character models, top notch story, in legible English no less, plenty of scenes with good variety. What more do you need? Two thumbs up, highly recommend.

Nice Story, not that much text wanting you to skip, Great Animation, love the Story,just like watching a movie,I just cant get enough of it, could continue with this without taking a break.
Would give this game 10 Stars if I could, the Only problem I,m having with this game is to decide which girl to take.....decisions decisions....

This game was a pleasant surprise pick up for me. Good characters, good writing, and pretty good renders with acceptable animations. Highly recommend if you are into more down to earth grounded stories.

top 3 games i ever played on this site! hands down just got to the end of chapter 5 and honestly the makers deserve all the support they can get and tenfold, very deep story which makes you connect with each of the characters as well a pretty complex MC who has layers.

a really good story and great character development, an interesting story. With many plot twist that makes me can wait for the next installment of the story. So many choices of love interest in this story, I have gone form loving a character to hate them and to vise versa.

Didn't skip dialogue at all, and that is rare when it comes to me and the games on this site.

Beautiful renders, but more than anything there characters are interesting, and the drama captivating.

This was a very pleasant surprise.

Good story, with great build ups nicely spaced out. Before you realized it there's a bit of a mystery involved. There is intelligence to the writing--showcasing a bit of the human element to the story. I like that.

The family dynamics are great too, with some witty dialogs. Some good comic relief with the bartender, Dylan, too.

Overall, the models are good, with Alexis and Eryn being super hot in my opinion.

Can't wait for more!

Good graphics and story build-up, the game has a lot of potential in story as well as character relation just the animations and sound are not up to the mark. Animation can be more better rather than loops. Still 5/5

Intertwined is in my opinion a really good game wuth a nice and not set up stroy.

No forced sex scene, every scene makes scense and is well explained.

Character are really good looking and there is a big variety of women.

Alexis seems a little bit off renderwise.

But all in all it's of course no perfect game but it has a really good telled story and is also really well made. The Renders are nice the places are well designed and almost every character looks really good.
There are some old women (milf's) its not my taste but its in the game for those who are looking for this.

I absolutely love this game, it just sucked me in from the start. The story has been very enjoyable, the chars are great and the graphics are excellent. It`s become my favorite VN at the moment.
There`s enough love interests to cause some jealous rivalries with our handsome hunk.
I cannot wait to see where the story goes with this...

The college feel also adds some nice drama to the family stuff. Dev has done some amazing work with this

The character design is great. Girls are well proportioned. Story is believable and the variety of girls should cover everyone's liking. The best games are the ones when I can't decide which girl I want to go for.

Tbh, I had high hopes when downloading this game..but was rather disappointed with a very dull approach to the story. The story feels very laggy , like its being held behind and hasn't really took off. There isn't much story progression in the mom's / neighbor's part. I played the game last night and don't even remember a thing about it this morning because all the main characters are held back while side characters are being used more frequently, Like when the MC keeps going to the bartender chick for meaningless sex. The other stepsister arc hasn't been well implemented either.
Ffs, The download size has reched 2.5 GB and there isn't any worthwhile content to keep the viewer glued to. My suggestion to the dev is to ditch the side characters / school stuff and focus on the main story for some time.

Edit: Just completed version 0.7, and holy hell... it's still one big mess of a game. Feels more like speed dating.. Jumping character to character without any significant progression.

You play as a young man who came back home after 5 years to your home town. Your parents were divorced and you spent some time living with your father abroad along with his new wife and two same age daughters. Coming home you attend school and get to know several lovely ladies.

-The plot is simple and straightforward at first glance however, dialogue with the characters suggests that a lot of people are hiding secrets or bits about themselves from you such as part time jobs, being secretly related or knowing another character and so on. There are some choices to be made but I do not know whether or not these choices are significant and alter the story or even raise affection due to there being no indicator, but so far seem to allow you to play different versions of scenes or make them play out in different order.

- Mc attracts girls as naturally as he breathes and 99 percent of the girls all want him, which is not everyone's cup of tea. In sum, a pleasant surprise with a bit more depth than expected, overall a great straight forward chick magnet game with great looking girl models and graphics.
