Personally I believe the Rachel thing is a red herring. It was a robbery or something like that. I don't think it was Ethan, but maybe that's an simple exit way Nyx made for Erynn's blackmail problem. The police finds evidence, Ethan got arrested, Erynn's free.

I don't think Nyx will let Ethan off the hook so easily. The MC has to be involved somehow.

Nyx is probably trolling as usual with the Brooke thing, in my book this pretty much exonerates Brooke, no longer a suspect...
Robbery gone wrong is meaningless for how much this story is being pushed... Red herring is a possibility, i can't deny that with Nyx involved...
Against robbery gone wrong we have the fact that they are still interviewing people who knew her, if she was simply shot and had her possessions taken i don't think that would be necessary...
And she was in an alley(while wearing clubbing clothes) for... reasons.

I don't expect the police to simply figure everything out without our participation and we hearing about it on the news... that would be a poor use of story elements honestly.

Edit: Maybe we go in searching for the sextape and end up finding more than we originally anticipated...

Yes, I know the original idea of what the first plan was. But since this is what we got, this story must be accepted. You don't have to think about "what if"...And I won't change my current opinion because of all previous ideas...I know now I'm probably one of the "black sheep" theory. I have never offended anyone on any forum, just because they were attracted to a character who was not the "majority's" favorite. Let everyone play the way they want, it's everyone's free choice. I hate it when someone on a forum makes a disgusting comment about a character (there are a couple of exceptions) just because he doesn't like it... Maybe I was too honest, but I had to point this out, and that's why you can like it or not like it...

He's trying but all attempts are failing. In the end the police does their job and MC facepalms himself, asking why he didn't listened to Melissa and Emily who said he should stay out of this and let them handle the problem.

It's all part of investigations the police does. They don't know what happened, yet. So they ask all the people who had contact with her to get a picture what kind of person the victim was and if there's a possibility of relationship crime. All they do by now is searching evidence what could happened. Maybe she was in escorting business and a client does this, maybe rape "play" or choking kink. Ethan didn't do it then but the police could find out what a shady business he operates. Could be the solution for Erynn's problem.

The fact makes me not sympathize with erynn is the fact she and mc are childhood friend, when he run away she falls in love with him...
After 5 years a wild chemistry starts between mc and Lexi and she angrily calls dibs on mc after all the shitty choices she made: first of this be friend whit that shot of a man of Ethan...
At least she blames a 13 years old kid runaway for all the shitty choices leading to the mess of a life she has now.

that's one way to see things while I see how you came to why you have some of opinions you do. I somewhat agree and disagree . This is just how i see things and and no one gonna see things the same. Maybe I see things this way because im too nice of a person but this is just my interpretation of the reason things happened to her and why she seems to love the MC too easily.

I don't see Erynn falling in love because the MC ran away at least not right away. I see it as she always looked back onto those good memories as time went one and realized he was probably one of the good things in her life so over time those memories turned into a love and it was just amplified when the MC returned.

I personally dont blame Erynn for being friends with Ethan since she does say he changed his behavior at first after the MC left. While yes she is too blame for not ending her friendship with him sooner when she realized the " friendly Ethan" was just a façade. I cant fully blame her either just because we dont know how long it took her to realize Ethan was faking being friendly. Since he was the reason she lost all of her friends but Alexis I would think anyone would be hesitant to end a friendship if it brings you down to one friend unless you know they are being a shitty person and like I said we don't know when she realized this. Tho the blackmail part I do blame her for cause clearly wasnt in a private place when she had sex with Zane and didn't verify it was real or deleted after prom.

Hm, i don't think it would be a popular choice at least, but more important, Layla or Elena agreeing to swing (or really any of the LI's) ?
Sorry i just can't see that happening, at all, or how that would fit with any of their personalities we have seen so far.

I can see Sienna as a possibility for cheating, maybe a threesome with her bf, but nothing involving the Layla or Elena, well besides screwing up the relationship with them when they find out, and i'm sure they will.
