Disagree with what ever You like, opinions have nothing at all in case and point as it is written.
Go back and play EP5, pay very close attention to the milestone public event in the clothing store.
Problem is I have no idea where episode 5 starts and ends since this game has no indicator unless I can recall it lol, but I'm guessing you talking about the scene when you go to the clothing store with her and nothing past that

It's all Your choice in the matter but mind You this, Your "sex" issue.
People whom are 'Just Friends', with the past they have and feels for eachother.

Don't make out/swop spit/almost have Sex... how many times since then?
AND NOT be an item, progressing forward.

Well I just replayed the clothing store scene and a little past that don't see the issue there or with how she acts past that point. But I can understand why someone might have an issue with her dynamic within the relationship. However I just do not see any problem with it if you take her trauma into consideration. To me it makes perfect sense why one moment she gives into her desires and backs off because of her trauma. If she had no underlying issues like having relationship issues , trust and trauma because of the Blackmail id agree it would be silly and weird how she acts in the relationship.

But to me because of those issues it does come across a bit natural or expected for someone like her with those issues. Because she is close to the MC she would find it easier to lower her guard and give him for a moment here and there then realize she is about to go to far freak out and back off right before it goes to far because of her issues. It is only in the last episode she is starting to heal and get past those issues with the MC. The episode prior she had a big freak out. After that she is kissing him non stop acting bold ( the shower scene).

My interpretation is she is acting bold like this in an effort to force herself and push herself to the point where she is 100% comfortable because she wants to be with the MC fully but her trauma makes it difficult. So she is acting bold to get out of comfort zone and can handle just being normal around the MC at least when it comes to the relationship and being sexual with one another.

She has known MC her whole life, she knows he cared about her before he left, harbours feelings deeper than just friendship and has been helped out of tough spots a number of times. Her reluctance to express her feelings is making my interest in pursuing her path start to wane.
I will say yes I do want her to tell the MC how she actually feels not just do it by showing. But id say the same thing for the MC neither of them of making a move and telling each other how they feel to me it's just as much on the MC as it is on Erynn when it comes to telling one another how they actually feel for one another.

It is a bit of a slow-ish burn with Erynn.

Layla, on the other hand, has known MC a few weeks/months, sees how he helps not just her with Lucas, but others and decided that MC was gallant enough to bust her cherry.

well I did try to understand where you are coming and thought I did , I just didn't agree with what I thought was your issue with it. You only let me guessing tbh.

I kind of thought I knew where you were coming from after that post but with me thinking about her trauma I just can't see it so sorry. But I did agree with you if there was no trauma at least and it was any other LI lol. :) But hey at least I tried.

With or without trauma didn't stop them doing what they do, changes nothing in lue of how "Relationship Dynamics" occur.. period.

Dessolos ; they were never "platonic friends" the Relship Dynamics from the get go were different.
nor is Erynn concerned about her Trauma, I wager to say thy will not have intercourse, till Ethan is dealt with.

I see yeah that makes more sense to see what he was trying to say to me. I do still think trauma is a bit of her concern but that's because it my personal interpretation because of her actions especially in the last 2 episodes.

Well they just need proper instruction, ya know?
Kinda like MC could use some more advice with his dealings.
Wouldn't go so far as to get anyone at the school involved.

May have different dramatizations then expected.

There are a couple of things that act as "stoppers" with Erynn (besides Emily ).
One is Erynn being afraid of what a relationship will do to the friendship, she doesn't wanna lose him as a friend, she's happier since he came back, so she's scared to change their relationship, she's scared that entering a relationship will lead them apart in the future and change their friendship.

As for trauma, i don't think traumatized people know they're traumatized, and when told that they have issues they deny.
It's just something that hits them... not something they counciously think about.
The events that happened with Zane-Ethan did scar her, and often leads to her freaking out when we get intimate, but i doubt that is something she's actively thinking about.

The MC does a "meh" job getting her to feel secure enough for a relationship, they stay in that friends that sometimes fool around area that scares her, he never says anything besides "we will take it slow".

Stepping up the relationship when Ethan is dealt with is a very traditional structure, think of a quest line in an RPG, Erynn is the quest giver, Ethan is the problem you have to solve and you get the "reward" after you solve the quest.

Getting rid of Ethan will be a big boost for Erynn to get over her issues and of course trust the guy that solved her problems.

And goes without saying send Emily to Europe for a month, that will help more than anything.

Everyone deserves a pass and to take things slow BUT.....
that does not justify Beta-Boy MC shit choices, the neglect and hypocrisy of BOTH Erynn AND the MC.
Witch is in this case, blunders caused by the author.

Failed to correct, continuity went bad to worse from EP5 through EP10.
Had things been corrected, would have made HUGE significance even with all the drama.
I'd fully back title & Dev Regardless of the heat i'd catch for it by particular others, doing so.

We're not kids anymore so how about we stop kidding ourselves, yes?
