This thread is turning dangerous, so I'll be trying to stay away for a while. Like the rest of the universe I have Eternum to finish (new playthrough) first anyway.
Have fun, be nice to Layla and less nice to Ethan.

If you use a mod then you have to wait for the mod to be updated before you can play the updated game. This is always the case, it will never change.
except Sancho, who conveniently made a small file for his mod users whenever they play a new update without his mods. Wish more of them followed suit. Missing him a lot. Also a lot of mods don't modify actual game files so you can just play new updates fine without them... even if they do most don't fuck with variables or saves so unless you install an old mod version with a new game update you should be good to go. Not sure about Intertwined mods, haven't used them in ages. So saying it's always the case is a bit of hyperbole.

True, wouldn't have been applicable for this game anyway, he never modded it.

Only if the mod replaces files (a lot of them don't), if it doesn't, then no you don't have to, like with URM for instance.

Even in this case you can rollback or ignore and probably continue on.

I get the feeling a particular scene is going to create some drama in here from the latest update.

Completely avoidable mind you but we know people will still click it then come in here and complain.
