Damn, now I'm wondering why I like this so much. This is in my top 10 but if you put a gun to my head I'm not sure I could explain why. I guess I really just love branching AVNs.

Just manage the points for the other LIs and they'll never approach you out of romance. There are certain overtly romantic choices you can make that either lead to love interest, or friend status. You can do it with Alexis, Erynn, Layla, Val, Niki, and Cara, for sure. If the points get too high they'll approach you. But if you don't go over the 'threshold' you'll just become (best) friends and they never express interest in you. In addition don't flirt or do anything overtly romantic and it won't trigger anything.

On any playthrough I can keep them all from wanting to, or asking, to date the MC.
I get what they mean though. Val is tricky to manage. You can't romance Layla obviously, but some scenes need you to be with Alexis. Then Ep13 has the Erynn/Val beach date, easy to dodge Erynn by managing her points but it's still a lot of work put in for a girl that doesn't have an "official" route.

What's funny is the camera's would show MC helping a woman being physically assaulted. So Ethan would basically send himself down in the process.
very true like I said all logic on my end goes out of the window once I think about the risk involved. So the moment I thought a chance of possible jail time I was thinking to myself please give the phone back lol

#1 for me. For me it kind of boils down to the character / relationship building also with how playful the character feel has a certain charm to it I can't explain. Also a few characters give that virtual girlfriend feeling which is something I fucken love and rare to see in a AVN. So far Erynn and Lexi give me that feeling. Nikki also kind of is starting to gives me that feeling as well. so when a game does something I love to see with more than 1 character that I find rare to find in other games it's easy for me to explain.

1. If you're on her path then yes, on any other path it was John who intervened.
2. Probably to add content during the trip for anyone not on either Nikki or Cara paths.
1. Val can show up even if you are not on her path. If you have 13 or more points for Val she overrides John on that encounter and is always there.

Be the scum of the scum. Choose the choose scumiest possible decisions, you know... for drama. Watch the world burn. I am pretty sure by the end of the game, MC will be shot by a mob of angry women or one of them will Lorena Bobbit him.
nothing can beat monroe sisters (or half-sisters since not confirmed if both are from same father) telling to mc what a asshole he is unless it's lexi, erynn and iris beating mc at same time.

Alexis is easy to avoid romance. Don't visit her on the plane and don't hang out with her at the bar. Even if you accidentally started romancing her there are LOTS of ways in the first few episodes to stop it, the easiest being tell all details to Zach at the bar. Further in, when you meet Layla at the Pizza restaurant tell her all details should also end it. There are a number of others as well...

For Layla, just avoid a few critical moments and manage the points you gain, and she'll never try to romance you. If you show interest in Val, she even offers twice to help set you up with her.

You do not need to be on Alexis' path to romance Val unless you are going for the Secret path. I've got 4 Val playthroughs, and on all of them, none of the LIs have tried to romance MC.

Less drama probably when Mel and Emily find out John is actually Mel's John and Erynn's father.
The part I don't get, is Emily clearly states when talking to Mel at her pool that it's not Mel's John. So either she is really confused or doesn't recognize him.

U sure about that? I have 18 points with Val and John was the one who helped on my path. But could be because im dating Layla? Was still only friends with Erynn at that point so i don't think it has anything to do with her

Unless I remember it wrong, Emily has never met "Melissa's John", so unless there are photos, she's only going by Mel's description of him. I just took it as her saying John and using "your John" to distinguish them, though it's a common enough name and with enough time passed that it's probably not necessary.

sorry, but I have to pull that tooth out of you. the most we get to read from a xy girl is a strong lecture and that's it.

I'm on the "disaster routes" and there was no physical violence anywhere!

I assume doesn't recognize him I even got the impression the first time we heard about him in the flashback Mel would have a hard time to recognize him at first but would after a minute or 2. Since it seemed like a one night stand.

The threshold as set out in the code:

Python:
if Erynn_Week3_Monday_Help == False:
    ...
else
    et "So, what's it gonna be? Help me, help Erynn."
    if Valeria_Points >= 13:
         $ Valeria_Week4_Friday_Help = True
         scene 09_1330 with vpunc
         ...
So perhaps a bug on your save? If you are helping Erynn and your Val points are 13 or more, it should trigger.

It's path independent unless I missed something somewhere.

I can double check in just a bit but I'm pretty sure if you killed the romance with Alexis, MC doesn't call Val to check on her after the Ethan fight during the Cara/Nikki visit to Madison Springs (or during that same time period if neither of them came). It's only 2 Val points so pretty insignificant in the big picture but I thought it was weird that this scene that has nothing to do with Alexis has a flag related to her tied to it.

Hm, i honestly don't know. Either way, i was pretty content with how it went down with John although it may turn out that this John is Erynn's dad John witch would mean he kind of flirts with his daughter, even if it was just pretending, so that could turn out interesting

That sounds like a bug or something then. I'm doing a Val playthrough right now, never dated Alexis, called after the Ethan incident (95% sure I did, did that part yesterday). Currently on the beach date, so a bit past there now unfortunately.

That could be, as I've never started romancing Lexi unless it was a dedicated playthrough for her. I've just seen where all the offramps exist. I've always avoided other romances and keeping each save as a unique LI just in case weird bugs happen.
