I don't think I've ever seen a title where the number bar shifts past 9. Just had to go through them one by one with some fast clicks. Sure would be handy though. I hope you get your wish.

I could swear that some of the other games I play had rotating page numbers, because I have tons of saves in them too (I won't name them, but they're big popular games with lots of paths) .... but I just checked and they don't.

What they DO have is the arrows like so: << < 123456789 > >>
So you can go one page or 10 pages at a time
And it also lists what page number you're viewing, so you don't have to count; thats really whats missing from Intertwined that t he others have; the page numbers and the arrows. Those would be super useful.

I'm sure it's possible to implement the scrolling page list, but it might take a big re-write of the load/save menu.

I vaguely remember games having pages 1-99 rather than 1-9 across the top, but I haven't seen it in years, it might be that one of the renpy engine updates removed it to streamline the save pages.

Huh, I don't recall seeing any games with beyond 9 pages easily clickable, aside from using the arrow to go page by page. When I dabbled in Ren'Py myself, the generic GUI at the time stopped at 9, but was arrow-clickable beyond that.

I still don't get it why it's an issue? Just click the next button, it's literally one click per page and seriously doubt you're playing games where you have 300 saves that you need to navigate day-to-day where this could cause some minor annoyance.

Definitely not a problem for me, was just replying to the original in the thread. I think Intertwined is the one I have the most of, and that's only about 15 or so. Next would be Summer's Gone and Hillside with about 8-10 each.

The busiest might be if you name and dedicate a page to a LI. Then in some you could hit ~10 pages. But nowhere near needing hundreds.

Yeah as of this update when I redid my solo saves I kind of just organized what save is in what slot and named it in a spreadsheet for me it's a little easier to do it this way. Before I used to separate paths by the page file but I find in this game I want to use up every slot as possible and juts reference the spreadsheet especially because when I actually get around to doing a full replay of the game I want to make a section to just replay some of my favorite scenes.

Well I have 4 pages of Lex saves because I was leaving a save at each major choice for exploration's sake.

I was going to start on Page 10 for Erynn, 20 for Layla, etc and leave gaps for the future; It's what I did for that one game about college that shall not be named.

Unfortunately, Intertwined doesn't show "Page 1" at the top like the others do, so you literally have to count as you click next. I suppose I could use the first slot as a page label, but it would be way easier if the function existed

yeah it does I just don't name my saves if not using the URM save feature. I find sometimes it gets annoying when Overwrite a named save on

This game is one of the few that I think works well. When I did my latest run through, it "remembered" the name of each save I was playing, so when I saved in increments, it already had the save name pre-populated and I could just do it in an extra click. I've played some others recently where it needs you to retype it every time you save, and some where it randomly populates the name of a different save file (presumably after I've branched the save at some previous point).

I'm saving Mira for my fuckboy or Chaos save figure my MC is gonna end up all alone on those saves. Mira makes sense for that those especially if she gets a ending to me feels like she is being set up as such a character.

Yeah, my Mira run includes Lakeyn, Rachel, Julia, Tori. Basically all the one and dones for gallery completion

I've seen some speculate it may be Ximena. But it'd be odd if it was, as when on Val's path her Mom:

• She sees MC's picture from the mall, and Val tells her his <name>.
• She sees him in her car after the Beach Run, and waves/acknowledges him by name, without Val telling her the name again. She doesn't recognize him as waiter at Rue Madison.

Whereas Ximena sees the MC at Rue Madison as waiter, and she only says that he seems familiar but she can't place where. If she is the Val's mom, would she not have recognized him?

Or do I have events way out of order?

im probably gonna do Mira , Lakeyn maybe Julia Hard no to Tori only character I refuse to see scenes for. Tho I kind prefer to do Lakeyn on a Lexi save haha

yeah I don't even have that save I just checked her scenes out but when I do make the fuckboy save i'll do it just so I don't have to redo the save.

Huh. Still a bit odd that if she is actually Val's mom that she didn't recognize him in the car, just waves and says Hi. "Oh he was my waiter at Rue Madison" seeing they have a pretty decent interaction and MC can even ask for a photo.

I wouldn't count on it. Lexi doesn't seem the type to share her man. Iris would be the most likely candidate, Erynn would never and the Ximena choice is cool where Lexi says "I'd even agree to it if she was willing to have a threesome with us."

Iris threesome will never happen. And yes I can see a lexi, erynn mc pt since lexi actually mentions erynn as the one she would pick. Lexi went up to girl number 2 with this eps. Most realistic character (besides rich parents) in the vn.

The mall where you take more photos with Val is Episode 10, the beach is 11 and the Restaurant is 12.
