There would not be works with moms, sister, or childhood crushes if the defining trait would be ongoing romantic relationship, any emotional attachment to characters that would subsequently lead to turmoil of the main character and by proxy the audience, be it self insert, or roleplay seems to qualify for the nippons. MC' school bully fucking his mom, regardless of the lack of incest is still a NTR story. But who are we kidding, we are going to argue semantics till kingdom come... For whatever reason the complainers about the complainers can't figure out that if you manage to avoid a tag, that doesn't mean shit, the person is not going to magically change his feelings about a scene/character.
If they tell you they hate apples, they are allergic to it, it makes them sick and then you come and show them that what they hate are not apples, are pears and you show them proof of that, what do you expect it will happen? Do you expect him to now be ok with eating apples(pears)? Enjoy them?
The only thing that matters is what is the narrative purpose of a scene, what is the target audience for a scene like that, what kinda emotional reactions is expected? You can call it whatever you want, NTR, voyeurism, the Easter Bunny. If I can accept the complainers are stupid, I at least expect the Japanese scholars educating others on the topic to understand this simple concept.
But, even if you have no problem, or hell, enjoy that sort of scene, I want you to admit to me that is a complete waste of dev time for this game, in the longest dev cycle so far, mind you.

I would not be surprised if they report her Patreon for Incest out of spite, would I want it? No, its one of the few games I still keep up with, would I find it hilarious if they get enough reports to get a human review after she not only continued the incest baiting, but dialed it up in the last 2 episodes, with MC keep seeing her naked and starting to have impure thoughts, absolutely, Nyx and her petty joke is past the fuck around and find out threshold, especially with the new draconian Patreon rules.
