Yeah, I wasn't sure if the ban was a big deal or not, but if it was just reddit, it doesn't mean shit (like you said).
So the retcon is already done? I must've missed it. If it doesn't bother you, can you tell me in what scene it was done? I probably used an old save and missed that part, or wasn't paying attention thinking it was a scene I already saw.
Ages were adjusted in some of the earlier chapter conversations. No new scenes, just some dialogue text changed.

Eldurial is slightly underplaying it. Patreon either missed it...or didn't play far enough (though i suspect patreon play like the first 5 mins)...or were too stupid to do simple math.
There is a flashback scene of MC with Iris. Given all facts presented clearly in the story, the MC was 16...and Nyx showed a sex scene...with a 16 year old...now despite Nyx bemoaning people whining and standing her ground that she DID NOT need to change it...Patreon missed it, because if Patreon had noticed and picked up on the ages what constitues (legally) a sex scene with a minor...they would have been all over her ass. Was the scene good? Yeah it was. Is it also legally classed as c**** Porn? Also yes....that's why it was banned on Reddit (and other sites).
It's amazing this site kept it up in all honesty....that shit is serious (if the police had found it...anyone hosting it would also have been in serious shit for posession), despite Nyx towing the dangerous lines she does and trying to blow it off as 'it wasn't a problem'. Drawn, 3D, animated,...doesn't matter, it falls under a very serious worldwide highly illegal banner. What is perhaps more serious, is Nyx's continued attitude towards it...unelss she also forgot all the ages of her own characters...
However, as said, ages have been changed, the relationship period has been shortened, the MC is now a dumbass (more than he already was) who has been held back a year..so all is right with the world, bcause she refused to remove the scene.

all true, didn't try to underplay it myself, it's pretty much CP according to the law, and even patreon rules, i've said so many times myself, but it's been fucking years, and no one gives it a shit about it. In fact many AVNs get away with stuff like that, or incest, or whatever. They are cracking down on them, but it's still a surprise this one didn't even get a suspension. Nyx must be a nepo baby of someone at patreon is one of my theories

I heard someone say once Nyx had talks with staff from patreon and they approved certain things before they were even in the game. Do you know why or have any speculation as to why Nyx didn't just skip the whole high school thing and toss everyone in college? Initially, I thought the fact he was still in high school was a little weird but I dismissed it as Nyx wanting create another layer of separation from the college crew (Erynn, Alexis, and Iris). Looking back, it seems to just create a headache having to deal with the ages in flashbacks.
This game/season could end at graduation and a sequel or new season could take over?

I actually don't know the answer to that....but as you say, it creates a clear seperation from one set of girls to the other. As Eld stated earlier, it's why it will never be on Steam, Steam dislike girls in 'school' (because ultimately, despite saying everyone this age blah blah, there's actually about a 3 month window max where an 18yo would actually still be in 'school' and not already left for college). it's again, towing a line...one Steam dislikes. Uniforms? Steam, hate that even more lol.
Yes it creates issues...and has created an issue...it would have been easier to just not have the scene because now, there's like 18months difference between the MC and Erynn/Iris/Lexi etc etc....instead of what it should have been (so the 'flower' scene to Erynn makes even less sense now really when you think about it)....but hey *shrugs*..I just play it heh.

no idea, she would have had to rewrite quite a few scenes for that to work. I personally don't care one bit about the age thing, but it sure would have made things easier.

tho this no steam thing does make me wonder if Nyx plans an entire rewrite for steam after the game is completed as it still says in the FAQ on discord " alot of things need to happen first" for steam so makes me curious why she didn't delete it either she forgot or might still try for it even if it means a rewrite after the fact.

game won't go that far out iirc, we're about halfway time-wise, so about one more month in-game time? Dev time, who knows.

I guess I was just going with the flow because I didn't even realize there was a problem until I saw the posts about her having to make changes and then it clicked. Maybe I'm just used to AVNs throwing out whatever numbers they want for ages and rolling with it. Like I said, the only real confusion I had in the beginning was the high school thing because I just thought he would be coming back and starting college.

haven't looked at how much money she makes before. At the moment she has 1400+ paid members, so she ain't starving. An actual successful steam release would be a big bump for sure, but with that sub count and the questionable steam approval I can see why it's not a priority.
