that's the worst part, I have an Elena save, and while I did replay most routes, that's the one I haven't touched after the initial playthrough... that breakup scene is pretty brutal

Same here, I won't play it either until we know that there's some meaningful content in a future update with Elena. Layla is a sweetheart who deserves better.

I have one from the latest update too, I'm pretty sure there will be some heavy content with those two on Monday back in school, so I'm curious how that turns out. I just don't wanna see the breakup again, the rest of the content I'm curious about.

i honestly thought the alexis bar breakup scene was way more brutal than the layla breakup scene

Well, I know two better options. Make the mistake in the pizzeria and choose the wrong option, and you'll have almost all the girls against you!
But the best thing is if you just turn around in her room (after the tutoring session with Layla) and leave.
[Edit] I have three routes in mind that I know will remain open for a long time AND that we don't yet know what NYX is planning here. But all three routes have one thing in common, nothing has happened (yet)!!! And all three have the potential for major drama, no matter what you decide!
