I don't think the confrontation with Zach will be for a few episodes.
Ep14 is the first day or two back at school and I'm calling MC and Zach avoiding each other. I see Val missing the first few days and people will suspect something's wrong and Zach will find out Ethan did something to her.
That's probably the only path to redemption for Zach.

As of now no, and there's no immediate candidates for a throuple as it stands, that might change in the future but I doubt it.
The Alexis secret path is a path where an LI you haven't started a path with encourages another LI you haven't started the path with to try and seduce MC even though he is with her sister.
