Of course, this is just pure fiction, but how can you get the situations in the game right without real-life knowledge, experience and empathy?

We're talking about Intertwined and not about playing with an incest-obsessed sleep-raping asshole MC.

I don't know how others see it, but in the course of the plot the MC never gave me the impression of being a narcissistic asshole who doesn't give a shit about the people in his life. The behavioral pattern of the MC with regard to overreactions should have been noticed by everyone since the pool scene with his mother at the latest. You are probably seeing the scene from the MC's childhood from your adult point of view, but the MC (and Erynn) was a child and was simply overwhelmed with the situation and this ultimately caused his escape.

According to the plot, Lexi and Erynn are best friends and Lexi knew how much Erynn was looking forward to seeing the MC again and that she certainly felt more than just friendship for him. Still, Lexi didn't tell Erynn anything. I already see this as a breach of trust and not as what friends typically do. Of course nobody has the right to judge Lexi for falling in love with the MC, but to keep this from her best friend is simply wrong. Especially since she knew exactly how Erynn feels about the MC.

Everyone involved acts wrong here or there, just looking to blame individuals is simply also wrong.

She looks at mc more than friendship... yet has no qualms to date and bang others. She is baddly written intentionally or not. She cant take a hint that mc rejected her and was mad. She is stupid to get into the blackmail thing to begin with. Than without any proof like it was already stated she agrees to blackmail , yes that makes you an accomplice (no police , no other people asked for help). She becomes an escort girl , also for her career in modeling. I hate this type of women that would go to such lengths to get a comfy life. Than at that moment when mc stumbles upon her and ass ethan we see what an exchange of facepalms , as much as your blue pilled life demands for interference i see no reason to intervene without putting myself in legal danger of assaulting ethan. Cause in erynn case she wouldnt testify that she was abused considering her attitude towards the blackmail thing.
And shut up with stupid remarks that Alexis shouldve told erynn about mc cause they are best friends. No the smart thing and the mature one is to let mc and erynn sort this thing , mc clearly avoided erynn and Alexis already knew the reason. Erynn doesnt even have the small amount of decency to keep to herself and goes straight to Alexis where he works and shouts like an out of control Karen. She lacks maturity to deal with this in a healthy and mature way. This is the girl we are supposed to defend? i mean if you want me to help her , make her story at least more appealing and her character more likable. The only thing redeeming about her is her char model which is indeed nice.

Because that's fucking brutal! That choice made me love the game and hope for more evil choices. Only bad thing about ignoring blondie is that it ends Alexis' path.

yeah dont bother anymore with him , he cant separate fiction from his social protection life...i mean according to him i may be the biggest asshole in life simply for not helping woman characters in a video game , yet if he knows what games i play here i think he will put me in jail and have me chimically castrated .
1 more point to me helping Erynn is that she is a ratting bitch, she keeps the blackmail stuff hidden from Alexis but tell her about mc not helping her.. what a bitch for ruining our love life.

Made some good progress the last few days. Finished the first route of the last scene. Working on the second route now. If everything works out I might be done with the renders after this week.

The things left to do are photoshopping the inconsistencies out of the images (render count is around 3500 images, something like that.) and of course coding. Once the coding is finished, I'll be able to see if I covered every route or if I'll need a few more renders to knit everything together. Not looking forward to this.

If all works out the next few days, I might be able to give an ETA somewhere next week.

Yep its an impressive amount of renders and shows why it took so long. Its on par with being a diks size of updates and that speaks volume about it. Personally i like more the longer updates but with multiple paths , a start and a conclusion (that may also have a cliffhanger). Smaller updates have the faster release date advantage but sometimes they can feel too short depending on what path one may be.And also much harder to follow the story that way and need replaying it more.

Firstly, you probably forgot a little the project's being developed by a female. This fact explains a lot. And as for you, you just take it with a male's gaze, like me, like most. And secondly, no one rules out Nyx intentionally brings out our depth of emotion by introducing certain plot triggers into the characters' images. Writing her characters she definitely doesn't follow a simple path.

I thought Gabi wanted nothing to do with me after she realized I was her student, but from those photos looks like she might be jealous of the other girls attention, that’s fine thers plenty of MC to go around. ALSO hope the hot redhead principle (Layla’s mom) is on the trip & I can get some alone time with her.

Court for assault, the dude and his girl (victim) added some bs what i never did, more bs like i attacked them for no reason etc. several thausand € fine and nearly a year of social work...
After that they wanted bring this for a civil court for personal injury compensation...which could be prevented thanks to a good friend and some people he knows...

Lesson learnd, should have talked to my friend earlier, would have saved me much trouble and money.

I agree it is definetely read by a woman, which isnt a bad thing i think male authors cant always take the female complexity or make them believable ( most turn them into sluts 1st few updates).
is it too biased to women considering her fans are mostly men? Probably but than again its compromise between good story and male hormon demands. But one thing i dont like is that choice that affects Alexis path, its basically no choice there if you want Alexis. In my Layla or nikki only paths yes that is for me a no brainer pick. But like it was pointed out our intervention in that matter which is basically assault will lead an already troubled mc even further down that path)

I don't find much of anything that's complex about these girl's character/personality. They're prime examples of what you find everyday in "modern" women now. Nearly all of them in this story act incredibly stupid(opinion), make terrible life choices, and to top it all off...continue to make very bad choices, even after realizing they made bad choices. Most likely will, right up until they hit "The Wall". They have virtual fields of red flags telling you to run like hell. But this is a porn game so...meh.

Personally, if it weren't for being carried on rails down certain routes, I wouldn't have anything to do with either of the childhood friends. They are both train wrecks. You can't stop looking, even though you know it's going to be ugly. One goes full on thot in the first scenes of the story, while later the story is trying to convince you that she's so amazing, and the other, while cozying up to the one person who treated you like shit the most, literally jumps right into blackmail trying to chase that easy money and life. But she's supposed to love you. Right.

As far as Erynn goes, another reason why she seems the toxic type: I've personally witnessed 3 different women play blind to the guy friend(s) who were playing the friend card to get into her panties. These girls weren't really bad people, but they were absolutely horrible girlfriends to their supposed boyfriends. Why? For the attention. They craved and fed off if. How do I know that? 2 of them flat out told me after their relationships fell apart. Also, 2 of them cheated. For Erynn, I realize it was done when she was a young teen, but she continued it through adulthood, and it took blackmail to open her eyes. But again...porn game so...meh.

At least Alexis is more tolerable, despite being a shitty, back stabbing friend.

To me, Layla I think her name was?, is probably the closest thing to a good girlfriend that you're likely to find here. But that's just my opinion. But, again, this is just a porn game/story, so...yeah. Still waiting for the drama bomb to ruin the others for me, but praying it won't.

Incase you haven't noticed, I prefer the story over the porn. And, yes, I draw parallels to real life. I can do that when the story imitates real life.

That part never works for me, just because i feel sorry/can empathize for a character doesn't make said character likeable/desirable, at least not for me.
If i have character i don't like, u can show me flashbacks/backstory etc, that makes me understand their action, maybe i can sympathetic with them, or feel sorry for them, maybe i even agree with some of their actions...still, it doesn't change the fact that i don't like said character.

If the drama comes from bad decisions and even after they realize that, they continiue to make bad decisions, i hardly have any sympathy for them...you've made your bed, now lie in it.

For me the whole removing Celia thing entirely is dumb. I get that Patreon has it's rules, but surely it would be easier to tweak the dialogue to make it so she knew what was up but that she went along with it because she enjoyed the whole power dynamic/blackmail stuff seems far simpler from a continuing the story perspective than just removing her all together? It would mean you could keep all the content and also create new stuff in the same vein but with the bonus of it being consensual, or at the very least, consensual non-consent.
