It also wouldn't make much sense now story wise, for it to be revealed that Andres is the MC's biological father after all and Emily just got her dates wrong. What an anti-climax that would be
I believe that Lexi and Layla's father is freaking Zo (Enzo Moreno?) the MC's basketball hero and Santi is his friend and agent. There have been multiple clues that Lexi's dad is rich and famous and I think that he is the most likely suspect.

Well there's agent rich and famous and basketball star rich and famous, which is quite different IMO. Show me some pictures and ask me which one is LeBron, I could do it and I don't even follow basketball. Now ask me to point out LeBron's agent? I wouldn't have a clue and the same for most people.
It wasn't just the restaurant he skipped. When MC is at they're house after helping Layla with her Spanish test, their father is home, but skips dinner to do paperwork, those aren't the actions of a former athlete who retired to spend time with family.
That's the thing, I don't believe that's Santi. He is staying with them at the moment and I think that is who Lexi and Layla are picking up from the airport, earlier in the last update. We only ever see the back of the dad's head.
Yeah, you're meant to think it's Santi but it's not, and is most likely Zo - or at least, popular opinion goes that way. I think one of the girls said it's their cousin (presumably Lakeyn?) who they're picking up from the airport though.

I just played through the scene on a Lexi save that I have and she just says "someone" so unless Layla says more if you're on her path. There's a good chance that it could be Lakeyn but I think that it could be Santi. Edit: Nah I just checked and Layla also says "someone"

Truth to be told there are a lot of stuff to remember so no wonder I mix them up. But as for the plane meeting, I'm not sure. It would be quite a short visit for her if she leaves on the same plane as MC. She is pretty much already at the airport when they talk in the car, and MC will have one more day in Madison Springs then leaves the next day if I remember it correctly.
