Yeah I don't know what the hell went wrong there with the character model or editing.

I'd say the drama could also be because Elena kinda disliked the MC from the start, and talking against him to Layla when she barely knew him, so while Layla could be the best friend to have around if you pursue someone else, in Elena's case I could see it as some form of treason from her.
Just a guess, though.

still doesn't fix the Cara path bug sadly. There is a bug where if you are in Cara path when you visit the sisters home it automatically switches to Nikki path . And Cara path does exist you can see it in the scenes gallery .

Elena didn't dislike the MC, she just didn't know him and took longer to warm up to the MC than Layla did. Also the Layla romance path doesn't happen by default, you can just be friends with her from the start.
Cara path works just fine for me. Was that particular save done with a mod?

yeah I never noticed that bug before , when I played all the paths shortly after the release. I was playing on 13.1 for the Cara path

Close your eyes, break Layla's heart and get into Elena's path to be happy later, Layla and Elena will probably remain friends...if you have a Layla solo path it will hurt less.
