The easiest answer is don't start relationships with anyone you don't want MC to be involved with. Some are mutually exclusive. Val won't date MC if he's seeing Layla, or if MC is with Tori. Can someone explain to me how to get Valeria’s 2nd scene?
As far as I can tell, being on Layla’s path blocks this as you can only take pictures with her, but I’ve reloaded my save to before training camp, and from there to this point there’s no way to get off Layla’s path besides doing Alexis or spying on girls with Zach, both which screw up Valeria anyway.
I tried Gabi’s route to reduce points with Layla and avoid anything that would add points but even that didn’t work.
Yeah I got it, I thought you needed Layla to get a couple points with Val, which you do get, but those aren't crucial to succeed with her. So I just started a new game and avoided a romance with Layla which fixed it.The easiest answer is don't start relationships with anyone you don't want MC to be involved with. How do you not start romances? Quickest two answers: 1) avoid critical moments... these are obvious, don't kiss them, check them out, etc.; and 2) manage the relationship points with each LI. If you want to stay friends with them, you can pick some things they like, but you also need to pick some they are indifferent or opposed to. Each LI has a different point threshold and some will automatically progress scenes. Some, like Val, are particularly tricky to hit the relationship threshold as there's only a limited set of points you can get before the Truth or Dare game.
Lexi and Layla are two of the easiest:
If you read the PDF Walkthrough, it's pretty easy to see whether there's a critical moment or a point accumulation check that leads to starting a relationship.
- Lexi: 1) Don't go to the plane bathroom with Lexi, and at the bar don't hang around waiting for her shift to end. You'll be starting down her romance path. That pretty much kills off her romance path there.
- Layla: 1) Don't check her out, kiss her, or do anything romantic. You'll know you are on the right path if, on the first beach trip with her and Elena, she doesn't invite you to the changing tent with her; and 2) Keep her points in check, so do a few things she doesn't like... such as checking her out on the beach date, or checking out Elena in her cheer costume at the school when she gives you the change of shirt... both will remove a few relationship points but she won't be angry or mad at MC.
If neither of the above work for you, use a mod like URM or Developer Console to lower the points manually. The PDF walkthrough lists all pertinent variables at the end.... there are a lot.
Once you get it figured out, it's pretty easy to speed through picking and choosing who'll have relationships and who will just be friends or enemies.
No, she's going to end up with Zach.I can't end up with Elena?
Damn kinda like herNo, she's going to end up with Zach.
Joking aside, Elena is meant to be an official LI, so yes at some point we will have the quickest and most painful romance in AVN history.
Ignore me, you will get the chance to be with Elena at some point. I'm just not a fan of having to hurt Layla to do it.Damn kinda like her
Well shit, I like Layla too this is gonna be a disaster. I'm just looking at their model before playing the game so I have no idea lol.Ignore me, you will get the chance to be with Elena at some point. I'm just not a fan of having to hurting Layla to do it.
that's the worst part, I have an Elena save, and while I did replay most routes, that's the one I haven't touched after the initial playthrough... that breakup scene is pretty brutalI'm just not a fan of having to hurting Layla to do it.
Same here, I won't play it either until we know that there's some meaningful content in a future update with Elena. Layla is a sweetheart who deserves better.that's the worst part, I have an Elena save, and while I did replay most routes, that's the one I haven't touched after the initial playthrough... that breakup scene is pretty brutal
I have one from the latest update too, I'm pretty sure there will be some heavy content with those two on Monday back in school, so I'm curious how that turns out. I just don't wanna see the breakup again, the rest of the content I'm curious about.Same here, I won't play it either until we know that there's some meaningful content in a future update with Elena. Well, I know two better options. Make the mistake in the pizzeria and choose the wrong option, and you'll have almost all the girls against you!i honestly thought the alexis bar breakup scene was way more brutal than the layla breakup scene

But the best thing is if you just turn around in her room (after the tutoring session with Layla) and leave.
[Edit] I have three routes in mind that I know will remain open for a long time AND that we don't yet know what NYX is planning here. But all three routes have one thing in common, nothing has happened (yet)!!! And all three have the potential for major drama, no matter what you decide!
Well ... atleast it would be nice warm without spending money for Energy or any other crap.
