Progress is still going steady. I'm working on a few smaller scenes before the last big scene of this update. The smaller scenes are mostly just phone calls, texts, and the sorts just to give a few LI's a little screen time. It won't be much.
Now to an issue. It's more of a future issue, but it might still affect other scenes. I communicated a while ago that I would push a certain storyline forward and that is already in the works, not knowing until a few days ago that it will create some, as I said, issues. Of course, because I push that one particular storyline forward, other storylines are pushed back. Especially a storyline of a certain love interest. I'm not gonna say who it is, you'll know once you play episode 14. It will be pushed back almost one ingame week, which is a very long time, but it can't be helped. Because it just doesn't fit with what's about to come. The main issue though is that I need 8 days in a week instead of 7. All the days are occupied, and I need to fit that pushed-up storyline in between. I can't just move the other scenes back like the LI storyline because they need to happen at a certain time. So now I'll have to figure out where exactly I have to put it. Also other scenes will probably be choice-based instead of linear, so I can put several scenes happening at the same time. That also means you'll need more playthroughs to see everything. Another issue with the pushed-up storyline is that since it will be pushed up, some scenes can't happen before it anymore, so a big part of that storyline will be scrapped and this will cause some 'is that it?' moments. This is all so hard to explain while trying not to spoil anything.
Should I have pushed up that storyline? Nope, I should've just stuck with the plan. But hindsight is 20/20. Now I'll have to deal with the consequences. Well, future me has to! And who knows, maybe I'll figure something out... For now I'll just concentrate on episode 14.

it won't be 8 months previous devlog said it's around the 50- 60% mark but it will be a short update
tbh I hope it is the other way around haha. Tho I somewhat think it might be Elena but also I kind of got a feeling it could be Nikki or Cara as well. Cause I recall they were gonna be coming to town in middle of the week if I recall correctly. So I think there is a possibility they are the ones being pushed back. Tho not that confident in that guess cause Nyx makes it seem like a big deal and I don't think those characters would be a big deal if they were pushed back.

I don't understand the needing 8 days if it was just Erynn becoming a staff member, or anything on Elena's path requiring that much time dedicated.
If it turns out a student was injured or possibly killed, that comes with potential school closure for other students safety or mourning.

that's why I kind of feel like it might be Nikki or Cara tho im not that confident in that guess either. I can only understand Elena's path if Nyx makes it her or Layla she still doesn't forgive the MC or just remains mad at him after Layla forgives him. Cause to me that could make sense but also for a game would feel rather forced and terrible to have it delayed for such a long time since this isn't real life.
As long as its not Erynn getting pushed back, I will be fine with whoever it is, cause she is my favorite and I don't want to wait a long time for content, plus right now we are getting into a lot of good stuff with Erynn and would feel weird to pause it for a week in game time.
Also hope its not Cara, but I doubt it cause her and Nikki coming to town feels like a package deal, and the way it sounds it is only one character. So I rule them out.
If I had to guess, I think either Val or Elena makes the most sense.

I agree about Erynn and she is my favorite too she is my #1 favorite LI across all AVN's haha. Even tho im not confident in my Cara / Nikki guess I think it can make sense since it would just be delaying a trip and they never told the MC a day they are arriving. I get what you mean it sounds like 1 character but I kind of still see it as one character cause you can't be on both of their paths.

I have been eagerly waiting for the continuation of that story ever since we confessed our interest in her, and the following scene at the restaurant.

Technically it did. Tho it was more like the MC talked Layla listened and left didn't even let Layla talk back lol. So it's not even clear if she forgives the MC or not.

in typical MC style he said two sentences and ran off without clearing anything up, he can be such an idiot sometimes. Could have waited a bit for Layla to process everything but no... she even tried to say something as he was rushing off.
