Are you aware that when you apply for a job in the US, most of the time, the company has a security department that does a background check and the first place they look is social media.

Which is why I think the blackmail is dumb.

Which do you think is going to look worse to them, a sex tape used as revenge porn filmed against her will while she was in college OR working as a high end escort which, on paper and if she's ever arrested, is down as prostitution.

Remember her clients are all rich so could well end up being someone high up the ladder of where she would be working.

Now, it comes out in class she's been in a sex tape with her then boyfriend. She'll have teenage boys fapping for days over that shit. The knowledge of the tape gets back to their parents. Some will be sickened, some will not care and some will sympathise however all will forget after a few months and there are some institutes that would have her back for that.

Then it comes out she's worked as a prostitute. Now she's got teenage boys saying they will pay her for a fuck. That gets back to the parents and there is uproar. Who's going to want to have their children around a whore?

We know she isn't having sex with them but they won't. On top of that she's getting more pressure to fuck them and lets face it, she doesn't make good decisions so sooner or later, without help, she would.

Now we hit why I don't like Erynn at all.

We have been told, multiple times, how intelligent she is with the rather large problem being every single thing she's done has been incredibly dumb. I haven't seen a single scrap of evidence that she is as intelligent as the game wants me to believe.

Which brings us to Erynn and Ethan. I see people call Ethan a manipulator but ask yourself this, why is it only 2 people have fallen for it and it just so happens to be 2 idiots in Erynn and Zach. Literally no one else believes his bullshit and knows he's a snake yet Erynn falls for his shit every . single . time.

She even stands the MC up, a guy she claims to have so many feelings for, to see Ethan.

Erynn claims Lexi is her best friend yet she believed Ethan, a guy she claims to know is full of shit, when he said Lexi had been coming onto him. She believed him over her supposed best friend.

Then she claims dibs on a guy she hasn't seen for 5 years and falls out with Lexi AGAIN this time not even allowing the MC to make his own choices.

So, in closing, she's not as clver as she thinks she is, she's gullible, she's got narcissistic tendencies and she's been hung up on Ethan for years.

Erynn does not has a single redeeming quality except she's attractive.

As the old song would have gone if it was sung about this game ..... everything she can do every single love interest does better, they can do everything better than her.

Escorts are exchanging their company, ie companionship, for a fee. The exchange in no way guarantees any sexual acts will transpire. The client pays for a companion, what the companion does with the time she has been paid to supply is up to her.

What the job is and what hysterical parents will claim it is are 2 entirely different things. They won't take the time to distinguish between hooker and evening companion, they are all the same to them.

Honestly it's the worst story for many reasons.

Alexis is introduced as this girl who is into 1 night stands and bootycalls the MC. Nothing wrong with that, that's a fun girl.
But later we learn she's best friends with Erynn and knew who the mc was all along, which begged the question:
"If you knew all along he was your BFFs crush why did you fuck him? And kept fucking him later?"
"I fucked him because he's hot" would obviously make for a despicable friend, so this got retconned into somehow she feels deeply connected to this kid she barely knew but stole her first kiss for a few seconds, five years ago.

The retcon flips her from girl who likes to have some fun to hopelessly in love way too fast(totally overshooting past me who was just having some fun with this girl and now she's uber attached).
And this backstory is something i can't relate to, she's a horrible backstabbing friend and more than a little manipulative.
And funny enough is sanctimonious as shit if she catches you lying to her, Jesus the high horse on this girl.

The Alexis vs Layla (and vs Erynn) drama being written out so quickly killed the character for good to me.
This was the kind of drama that i was enjoying(not girls getting assaulted or worst), how would they react when they found out? It's all solved quickly and without fireworks, Layla takes it in the chin like a champ, which feels very wrong to me(Alexis at least cries).
And if you kept the lie they find out off screen, she just pops in to tell you off, not unrealistic, but not the most entertaining way to handle this.

With Erynn much the same, there is a "getting caught" route, so some fireworks, but even if you witheld info in the previous episode(and got the almost sex with Erynn scene)the MC automatically tells Erynn he's with Alexis after the training camp, you can't even stick to lying, it's handled for you automatically, that's disappointing.
And of course Erynn now has much bigger problems to worry about than catfighting Alexis.

I dont see any deeper relation between Erynn and MC at the beginning. And there was no sign that Erynn had a crush on him as a young boy. Just the opposite. Erynn was a teenager and the MC a young boy who got bullied by Erynns boyfriend and Alexis was the one who comforted him when he was crying. And Erynn was in a relationship with Ethan while Alexis was single.
And the moments between MC and Alexis are also just better integrated in the story so i think the Dev developed the Alexis path better then the other options. I think Erynn is preserved to get the girlfriend of Iris later in the game because may she will have issues to trust men after Ethan.

Sorry...i driifted...to your question...i diont see at the beginning that Erynn has any special feelings for MC other than for a young brother. Erynn was a teenager and MC a young boy. When Ethan bullied him in front of Erynn it was Alexis who went after him as he cried and comforted him. Erynn started or tried being with Ethan which ended up that Ethan is now blackmailing her with a sexvideo. Alexis was not in a relationship with someone and i dont see any special reason if she likes MC to ask Erynn first just because of the fact suddenly he is a grown up heandsome man and maybe now Erynn wants him all of a sudden.
I didnt picked up any hints that Erynn was telling Alexis when he was away that she has a crush on him?

Art is good, has some outstanding work and leaves little room for improvmants.
Concept on a huge scale is Awsome.
But, MC makes to many pussyfoot/unrealistic choices/actions(as well as others..Priorities, huge mistakes Nyx poorly wrote into the characters).
Some things can be overlooked and yet some, cannot.
Alot of work for one person, gotta give Nyx props for that!
