Call me an optimist, but I see the bartender as more of an ally who - like Nathan - could help against Ethan and/or Lucas.
The mc may need more strong bros and Zach may not necessarily be up to the task.

+If you look carefully, the way Nyx's characters look tells you whether they are positive or negative. The bartender looks too friendly to stab the mc in the back.

Yeah, that's also a way to see it, time will tell.

Just played the Lexi playthrough and damn it seems I missed quite some awesome scenes with her, quite happy I saw them now.
Didn't know the sprinting competition result would change because I picked Lexi instead of going training with Layla, 4th instead of 1st. That was a nice little twist...

How many paths you all follow?
At this moment I saved 3; Nikki (alone), Lexi (without Nikki/Cara) and Layla (without Nikki/Cara).
Still have to do solo Cara, Erynn, Elena (for later episodes), Valeria.
Not to mention Gabi and Tori.... jeez there are even more routes then in BaD...

So far 1. Lexi & 2. Layla. I'll do the Cara or Nikki path next then Erynn but that'll probably hit on my emotions a lot (history); the Lexi path did already (superb scripting) & hopefully that can end well in future updates. I'd also like to go through the path with Elena but I don't do cheating (weird I know but that's me) but can't seem to work it out... Found the Lexi path difficult

True, but let's be honest, the reaction will still be nearly the same for many...
Personaly i don't like Em, i'm no fan of Mel and neither the newly introduced ex gf, so i really don't care with whom they fuck, no need to see it either.
I just don't want to waste time with that, if the time could be spend with LI's, especialy those which lack screentime (Elena, Valeria, Gabi..).

Yep, don't want to see the mums having sex with the MC or any of the LIs but great if they enter into a relationship with each other or a 3rd party (e.g. John in the garage). The ex g/f is friends with Lexi & her roommate whilst also infatuated with Erynn so she's likely to be involved. Guess we'll see...

Completed the Lexi path to the end of the current version, the girlfriend dare was so true to my 2nd wife & I (and we were in our 40s)! Very happy feeling here Nyx. Reminds me of Nickleback & "Gotta be somebody" (yes I'm a rock fan too):

She actually offers him something to hold on to, rather than giving him pitty like Eyrin or the lot.
Then the others MC has to keep getting beat up, dissed, flaked, pittied until anything good comes.
The game is not getting MC a day by day chronicle, rather showing the highlights of his time:
beat up, contact 1 with hottie q, contact 3 with hottie e, so on and so forth.

As Numa_Cway says Lexi can fall in love with the MC but it's not an easy path to negotiate. However, if you're a bit of a romantic (like me) it's worthwhile and superbly well written. As I mentioned above the girlfriend dare scene provoked a similar reaction from Lexi than when I 1st called my wife my girlfriend & yes when I said it I kept walking and she simply stopped then ran after me gave me a big hug and said she hadn't been so happy in ages; got to say when I proposed the whole restaurant heard her squeal of happiness. Context: after we got serious she confided that initially she was only looking for a friend with benefits... There were lots of "issues" to overcome with a "difficult" ex & her relationship there before we got to a good place. I've not tried to do the Erynn path yet but guess that could end in love too although probably also tricky to negotiate the path (I needed advice from a good (female) friend with my wife's "issues" or that would probably have ended up with us friends only). So in short not all LIs fall for the MC, it'll depend on choices...

Yeah, it's an easy straightforward game where you can explore the different paths without loosing to much time.
Finally did Elena's path, had some scenes which I didn't see before like the cheerleader training with the MC and the MC who plays with her brothers ("Elena has a boyfriend").
It's also nice to see her visual expression when she's standing behind the window while they're playing.

I hope in chapter 9 we will be able to romance her.... poor Layla tho.

Another scene which I hadn't seen before is the Melissa scene, she's also really into MC. Was a lovely dreamscene
