Everything included in the story must serve the story, with Rachel's death being brought up by multiple characters it sure seems like one person we know is gonna be responsible, it would be a waste if it never comes up again or some rando did it.

I like your Ethan theory, furthermore i'll add that Rachel's death occurs right after we have our fight with him, he was probably stressed out after getting his ass kicked.
Also given his unhealthy obssession with Erynn, he might have targeted the first blonde girl he had at hand as a substitute...and with Rachel not playing nice(aka not agreeing to get fucked in an alley), things might've gotten out of control.

Since you are a new guy to Intertwined, let me tell you that you are lucky, when this scene first appeared the sequence was:

Wait a few months to find out the answer.

That's a really good point actually, that it could be a random retaliation. Wow, having that scene as a cliffhanger must have been awful. What an evil dev!

Hmm, do we know who Alexis and Layla's cousin is? I had assumed it was going to end up being one of Nikki or Cara who was visiting, but I'm just doing my proper Nikki run and we had a near miss with Layla and Adriana who didn't recognise Nikki (though Adriana knew Coach had two daughters). I had assumed at first that Layla's jaw drop was because she knew Nikki, but I guess it must have just been at seeing the hottie at MC's side after he said about having a girlfriend.

Is it Lakeyn maybe? I think on one of my saves I walked past Alexis with Lakeyn and it sounded like Alexis was leaving after a visit. I might have just answered my own question, I literally just remembered this bit while typing...

Are there any other unknowns I've yet to stumble upon that are well discussed?

Thought so. In the last save I played, when the girls were driving to the airport, I convinced myself it was going to end up being Nikki and Cara, with one of the two visiting, but then this save made me realise it wouldn't be so. I don't know why I then remembered the Lakeyn scene, but it fell into place. Maybe it's a good job I only fooled around with Lakeyn on my blind save, and not the main ones I did after it!

Lakeyn and Alexis seem pretty close. Visiting and chatting on the phone, so on an Lexi path you can almost guarantee it will bite you in the ass. We don't know how close she is to Layla, but there is probably consequences through Lexi with at least Layla and Erynn.

Well the Gabi and Santiago thing has been discussed at length with no real consensus. Many of us think that they are married but then that would surely risk breaking the dreaded "incest" rules on Patreon, even being his Step Mom would be very risky from what I've seen. Patreon clearly says:

Not permitted

• Real or animated works (photo, video, written, audio) featuring sexual activity or role play interactions between family members who are blood relatives or part of the same immediate family (e.g. siblings, parents, adopted children, step-siblings, step-parents).

We will see what Nyx does with this, but if he is anything other than her husband or brother it would be pretty weird to me why she would have a massive picture of them together on the wall at her place. Unless they aren't married but the picture is of them at someone else's wedding.

Brother and sister would make her the MC's aunt or half aunt (whatever) which would be worse than her being Santiago's girlfriend I think as they would be blood relations. Plus the way that she is looking at him in that "track" picture, doesn't suggest anything other than she wants him imo

You're probably right and in theory they're shouldn't be any problems, I hadn't actually connected it in my head that it was prior to Lexi. But it is Nyx and this MC is such a drama queen, he'll probably make it a problem when he finds out they're cousins. Lexi may have issues that she has to work though too, but nothing breakup worthy.

if I was in that situation... yeah, slightly awkward, but I'd probably wouldn't say a word about it to Lexi, neither would Lakeyn, why make things worse. Now if she wouldn't be a side-chick, and had actual contact with MC then things would be different.

"He's my dad...." we believe this will be my dad's agent or friend. They aren't his sisters. It was a gotcha by Nyx and will apparently be cleared up straight away at the start of the next episode.

Exactly, I feel like Erynn and the MC's romantic time is overshadowed by the whole Ethan thing constantly. I want a few episodes of them just being happy together without all of the drama. I feel like we have that romantic time with most of the other LI's but not with Erynn, apart from a few small scenes in the MC's bedroom. Hopefully the beach date in the next episode can be a step in the right direction.

gabi isn't related to mc any ways, not even step-mother, she's just mc's dad's new(est?) ex-wife so no fear about patreon saying anything.

His dramas break the experience of this game a little. In a good VN, it would be the player who determines whether there is drama or not, but I think Nyx wouldn't have an equivalent path or doesn't want to write a story for the MC without the drama.

Right... well that's what I was thinking, with the no incest thing. Cutting the apostrophe+s doesn't really work very well - "Dad..." over "Dad's..." is not really a likely break if interrupted (plus the ellipsis is conventionally used to denote trailing off, not an interruption, so maybe that's why I don't read it that way). I'll take your word for it though and wait to see how it resolves.

Well I think Nyx took some inspiration from spanish soap operas (Telenovela's) where there is constant drama and pretty much everyone has some kind of link to each other. Now that we are coming to the end though I do hope that she focuses on the relationships with the LI's rather than outside drama. I want to see some relationship building, some romantic dates etc with whoever the player chooses.
