I don't think I've ever seen a title where the number bar shifts past 9. Just had to go through them one by one with some fast clicks. Sure would be handy though. I hope you get your wish.Any modders out there who can whip up a code snippet to alter the save/load screens? We still need scrolling arrows to access save pages beyond 9. They already exist, as clicking "Next" will select them in sequence, but the number bar does not shift.
I haven't played every Ren'Py game out there, but all the ones I can recall playing stopped at 9 pages. I searched the thread and there's code to expand the save grid size, but nothing on the page selection.

Huh, I don't recall seeing any games with beyond 9 pages easily clickable, aside from using the arrow to go page by page. When I dabbled in Ren'Py myself, the generic GUI at the time stopped at 9, but was arrow-clickable beyond that.no they usually don't, ren'py supports a shitload of save pages

What they DO have is the arrows like so: << < 123456789 > >>
So you can go one page or 10 pages at a time
And it also lists what page number you're viewing, so you don't have to count; thats really whats missing from Intertwined that t he others have; the page numbers and the arrows. Those would be super useful.
I'm sure it's possible to implement the scrolling page list, but it might take a big re-write of the load/save menu.

Definitely not a problem for me, was just replying to the original in the thread. I think Intertwined is the one I have the most of, and that's only about 15 or so. Do you use URM here is a screenshot from 0.12 with it was to lazy to install it on 0.13 right now In this one goes to page 7Well I have 4 pages of Lex saves because I was leaving a save at each major choice for exploration's sake.
I was going to start on Page 10 for Erynn, 20 for Layla, etc and leave gaps for the future; It's what I did for that one game about college that shall not be named.
Unfortunately, Intertwined doesn't show "Page 1" at the top like the others do, so you literally have to count as you click next. I suppose I could use the first slot as a page label, but it would be way easier if the function existed

This game is one of the few that I think works well. When I did my latest run through, it "remembered" the name of each save I was playing, so when I saved in increments, it already had the save name pre-populated and I could just do it in an extra click. I'm saving Mira for my fuckboy or Chaos save figure my MC is gonna end up all alone on those saves. Mira makes sense for that those especially if she gets a ending to me feels like she is being set up as such a character.also I have Mira on my Gabi path since well it kind of makes sense but no other paths.
