Ethans schemes are dismantled as life goes back to norm. Zach ends up taking up the mantle. Turns out all the shit that happened. He was pulling the strings from behind scenes playing the dimwit. No Erynns video has nothing to do with Zach but he found out about it. Man what a twist that would be.

Scrappy's mod changes all choice dialogues. Instead of it just saying "I like that" or "I don't like that" they add extra text to say "I like that Start Jane Path" or "I don't like that -1 Jane". In order to do that, they have to insert extra text at the end of every choice box, which requires modifying the game code.

When I only put scrappys mod I could load that save and I got the choice for Mira. So it worked with only the scrappy mod.

So I did actually look at the code for Scrappy's, and that error is a mod issue for sure. Several of his mods use "m_c1". If you look at line two, where they add the line "Can start Alexis path" it's using m_c1.

It's looks like they are using it to set text color, as in 1Mod.rpy it's declared:

So it's definitely a Scrappy mod problem. You'll have to go message him in the Mod thread for the game. You won't find much other support here unfortunately. They may need tracebacks or other things to try and find out the problem. But one of your game files, even when you said it was reset to base uses it. Or it's somehow gotten into your saves. Scrappy also makes use of the persistent.wt store as well, so could be there.

It would have to happen something drastic pretty soon on that route because so far its only been just some mild flirting, not a single sex scene with Alexis on that route, hell even Iris gets more action who is mostly unavailable on every other route except for some flirting on Alexis GF path. Honestly, i have personally been so far kind of disappointed in Alexis secret path, it mostly all plays out just in that one beach scene so far and its pretty mild, nothing really that would Layla have to be concerned about. It just came of more like a hangout between friends more than anything else, especially if you don't go for that Iris scene.

Is that a development time vs in game time problem? Development wise, it's been years, but in game time, if you think about when the secret path starts I don't think it's so slow. Alexis has to go from "this guy is dating my sister and off limits" to "wait Erynn wants to set us up despite Layla" to "wait others want it to happen as well" and it's really only been a couple of weeks in game time.

True that, just personally i would have maybe preferred Erynn's bits of her trying to set up the MC with Alexis on Alexis GF path if you were on friend path with Erynn, it think it would maybe add more flair to that route instead of having to do a whole another route where something may or may never come to fruition out of it. Just saying that so far this route doesn't really amount to much and seems unnecessary when those bits could have been baked into the original Alexis route for a overall better experience. Hopefully something more comes of it out of this route that would warrant that another playthrough though so i guess time will tell if something worthwhile comes of it

Ain't gonna lie. The scene with Emily and John in the latest episode gotta left a bad taste.

Like it was ok till we have a pretty mom and logical reasonable mc to not go after her but letting john tap that.....I understand that I should not have selected that option but curiosity got the better of me.

And the way she described it she is a damn tease. Nyx is evil.

I don't get you and the likes of you. There is a choice to allow it. You fucking know where it will lead. You have another choice to watch it or not. You still decide to watch it. And then you come here and complain about it? How about no. Another one for the list.

Dude chill.

Tbh that save was old so I just played through it for the sake of the save and opened that path for unlocking every scene.

And yeah I come here to tell what I think... I mean this space is for everyone to discuss all these stuff no?

This ain't a rant it's just my thoughts on story and I just wanna see what other people think even you for that matter.

And story wise john IS a great guy and Emily deserves to be happy. But also it's kind of an old fantasy back when I started playing this game of having emily cause of the points system nothing more
