There's a good chance that he would barely even recognise Melissa now, but I'm sure that she will recognise him. Besides the game seems to imply that John and Melissa was a bit of a short term whirlwind romance that ended up with her getting pregnant with Erynn.

I thought really hot one night stand, since he's from out of town. At most a hot weekend.

Pretty sure Nyx has mentioned her plan of killing two characters.

How sure are we that Nyx is not trolling however?

If I recall correctly, there were already two plans in place for characters to die: 1) Rachel, which was completed; and 2) Nikki was also supposed to die. When MC goes on the run with her, the car backing out of the driveway was supposed to hit and kill her instead of getting pushed out of the way.

I don't remember the exact details on #2, although a few here probably will. I believe it was too many supporters ended up loving the character?

I've finished all the smaller scenes I talked about last time. Now there's only 1 big scene and a small ending scene left to do. Actually, this episode can end in 3 different ways depending on the route and choices you made. The small ending scene will probably be done in a few days, the larger scene will take a bit of time since it has some variable differences and I have to cover all those possibilities. But we're getting there. Not that much longer, I guess, I hope...

Now... I did something. Like every other time, some might like it, others might not. Well... Half of it is your fault, and the other half, you can blame me. I can already tell that it's not permanent (yet), but it could become permanent depending on your feedback. I will poll it after this episode is released. You want to know what it is? Too bad, but you'll find out at release. Except for the lucky people who will see the preview pictures I post this Thursday. I was debating if I should reveal it already or not but why not, I guess. If you don't want to get spoiled, don't look at these particular previews. I'll put a spoiler warning in the title. If you want my opinion, I think it has a bigger impact if you see it while playing the episode rather than watching it now. But hey, it's your choice.

Wouldn't that be incredible! All my main playthroughs declined the John date in the fleeting hope that she'll actually become Mommy Brooke. Now my hopes just shot sky high thanks to you. And the back of my head is telling me that I'm probably bound for an inevitable disappointment, again thanks to you.

Due to everything else around it, Melissa, Erynn, Iris... John-Emily is highly unlikely to be a long term thing.
So Brooke may get her chance either way.

Nyx changed her mind on killing Nikki on her own, Nyx became too fond of the character, Nikki is partially based on Nyx's sister... so she decided against it.
Nikki was supposed to die in the same chapter she was introduced, so there was no "keep Nikki alive" campaign or measure of her popularity when her death was dropped.

Nyx changed her mind on killing Nikki on her own, Nyx became too fond of the character, Nikki is partially based on Nikki's sister... so she decided against it.
Nikki was supposed to die in the same chapter she was introduced, so there was no "keep Nikki alive" campaign or measure of her popularity when her death was dropped.

Right. It's been so long since I'd thought about Nikki's original story I couldn't remember the details. Thanks!

Just saw this on discord. I wonder if it might be one of things that's gonna get a rework since Nyx likes to do the rework / touch up parts slowly instead of all at once which is something I like.

This was a reply from Nyx from some talking about how if you aren't on Lexi path Erynn still comes back crying

Nyx's reply to that was
" If you aren't on the Alexis route, the Erynn crying while coming back has nothing to do with Alexis but she's crying because of something that has Ethan involved "

So that makes me think that could be something that is expanded on later unless it's gonna be a big spoiler for later parts of the game

Are you talking about when staying at her place? If you are on Lexi's path, she sees the photos of MC and Lexi. But if you are not, then my understanding was she got a "message" of some sort and left in distress. I don't remember if it was stated, but I may have just assumed it was related to Ethan based on the state she was in when she left/returned.

yeah that's one alot assume if you aren't on Lexi's path it's do to some poor branching or just something that never makes sense in the story probably because they seen the Lexi scene and assume it happens no matter what. If I recall that scenes doesn't even happen unless you are on Lexi's path.

This was always the case, Erynn needs to make a call to "someone" but can't find her phone and asks to borrow the MCs, if Alexis is active, Erynn immediately sees the messages and runs to "interrogate" Alexis and they fight.
If Alexis isn't active Erynn still goes out, presumably to talk to Ethan.
What Ethan says or does to her that day has never been shown or stated, but she comes home depressed and crying.
Maybe the remaster can add a scene here...

Spitballing, she may want out of a "job" that day because she wants to stay home and hang out with the MC but Ethan tells her "no can do" under threat of exposure.
Or something about how he doesn't like MC hanging out with her followed by threats.

Either way what happened wasn't a nice conversation.
