Zane was suppoused to get a scene with Ethan, but it sounds like it got cut in the name of speeding up the "Vanishing of Ethan", and we have no idea if this scene would show them as friends or antagonists.
Maybe he still gets mentioned even if he doesn't play a role.
If nothing bad comes up, we have to assume he's innocent.
Yeah I want to believe Zane is a good guy tbh. I don't like the idea of Erynn losing her V card cause Zane was an asshole that was working with Ethan. I prefer to keep with the idea that Ethan just got lucky and saw it or he used to be friends with Ethan and got wind he plans to try something that day.
As a side note : I would love to see that video even tho all the NTR haters will get loud
Do we even know if Zane knows about the sex tape? As far as I remember Zane dumped Erynn because she refused to go to prom with him (because Ethan had started blackmailing her) and he had no idea why she refused.
I still have a theory that it was Erynn's naivety that got Ethan the chance, don't forget that at that point Ethan had convinced her that he had changed and was being a nice guy and friends with her so I imagine a conversation like:
Erynn: Hey Ethan can I ask you a favor?
Ethan: Sure what is it?
Erynn: I'd like to get some private time with Zane but neither of us can be sure when we can get time at home without parents around.
Ethan: Yeah, my dad has hotel rooms booked up for when he has to fly models in, I'm sure I can find out when one of them will be available.
If Nyx is brave enough to show the tape then Zane could be a route into it. Considering what Ethan's plan was going to be before the storyline cut (trying to convince MC that Erynn was lying to him about the confession and getting MC to help him with Erynn because she's just stringing them both along), he could try and do a similar thing with Zane if he finds out they are both working in the school, show him the sextape and try and convince him that it was Erynn's idea to film it as she wanted to do a Kardashian to get a fast-track into modelling, and pointing out that if the sextape was leaked that Erynn would still have a modelling career but both of their teaching careers would be over before they started. But I think Zane would see through his bullshit and that would accelerate the end of the storyline. Zane would give him a smack and delete the video and threaten to do a lot worse if he didn't leave him and Erynn alone.
