Paul Sr. and Paul Jr. are around the average age of Intertwined players like me so that's just about right. hahahaha
Aren't you going to be curious about this storm that's going to happen here??Yeah I'm not looking forward to seeing the thread after the next release, I'm going to unwatching it for a while. Post after post of people asking why their saves don't work anymore.
or Toriwe should just get back to Dylan![]()
Is this a bit of wishful thinking on your part? That is dev's mistake or a deliberate attempt he/she created scenes that makes you think there is going to be some tension between them. Of course people are going to ask.
Agreed, any game with incest tends to make that front and center and completely ignores whatever the main plot is for it. That's just not the case with Intertwined. Is this a bit of wishful thinking on your part?
Cause the scenes between the MC and Emily are clearly meant to look awkward rather than "palpable sexual tension".
She does get her tits and ass out for us players to enjoy, but the MC is obviously weirded out when it happens in front of him.
Basic "rule", no game who tries to be moderately realistic will throw in incest just like that.
If there is incest it's tipically front and center, your mom and sister(s) are the characters you spend most time with.
In Intertwined you spend most of your time outside the house chasing other girls, pretty much all main LIs(and a few sidechicks) have way more screentime than Emily...
No one is gonna make a game where you spend most of your time outside trying to find a GF with a "btw you can also bang your mom", no one uses incest this casually, if seducing your mom was possible she would be hogging the screen more than anybody else.
Also incest games tend to have patches or "what this person is to you?" options, if a character is your mom by default you are not banging this character, that is a dead giveaway![]()
points systems are stupid imo, but that's just me. Oh noes, you haven't reached my imaginary 18!!! point threshold, no cookie for you. Feck off.Agreed, any game with incest tends to make that front and center and completely ignores whatever the main plot is for it. That's just not the case with Intertwined.
Also, I know it hasn't came up in the most recent debate, but just in case someone's new, Emily has points that are related to getting you a better outcome with a plot event. That better outcome will lead to more scenes with the main LIs.
Haha I feel like I had this discussion with Mav at some point on discord. It's one of my soapbox rants. I 100% agree.points systems are stupid imo, but that's just me. Oh noes, you haven't reach my imaginary 18!!! point threshold, no cookie for you. Feck off.

Agreed on both, there's no game with incest that makes it "one of the options", your relationship to the girls/women in your family become the main attraction.Agreed, any game with incest tends to make that front and center and completely ignores whatever the main plot is for it. It's a poor representation of how relationships work, but it's what devs use to see if a person is starting to like you.Haha I feel like I had this discussion with Mav at some point on discord. It's one of my soapbox rants. I 100% agree.
Flags are so much better. Did MC help Erynn in the alley with Ethan? Flagged and due to this flag, she feels comfortable enough to shower with him later, etc. It's a poor representation of relationships work, but it's what devs use to see if a person is starting to like you.
Decision flags(Intertwined uses both) is a better system, but also a lot more complex long term.
it just feels forced and artificial, and also choices have way less meaning, they are literally just there to pump that point counter up, Intertwined is especially guilty on this. Look at the booty, don't look at it, you have no idea (without something like a wt mod or URM) what is the "good" option. It's just fucking stupid. Rather have less choices that are actually meaningful. It's a poor representation of relationships work, but it's what devs use to see if a person is starting to like you.

While I'm thinking about it, the car/bike decision should come down to whether or not you bury the hatchet with her in the bedroom after he blows up and runs away seeing her and Mel kiss.it just feels forced and artificial, and also choices have way less meaning, they are literally just there to pump that point counter up, Intertwined is especially guilty on this. That's not a bad idea, if you forgive her on that day you have a great relationship going forward>Bike. While I'm thinking about it, the car/bike decision should come down to whether or not you bury the hatchet with her in the bedroom after he blows up and runs away seeing her and Mel kiss.
That sounds good honestly, never did an acting distant run but it is weird if he gets the free bike as well. That's not a bad idea, if you forgive her on that day you have a great relationship going forward>Bike.
If you act distant, still blame her, cold relationship and no bike.
It's in the game already, right now it's reliant on points and not on a specific scene or conversation. That sounds good honestly, never did an acting distant run but it is weird if he gets the free bike as well.
I've never actually seen this. I just can't bring myself to be a dick to Emily. Also more Zach time? Screw that! It's in the game already, right now it's reliant on points and not on a specific scene or conversation.
If you stick to being a distant son that isn't welcoming of your mom you don't get a bike.

after seeing his true face any new pt I did I tried never to score a single point with him, so far I don't think a high or low count makes a difference. But I don't actually know, any working saves I have are low count. And I didn't care enough to dig into it.I've never actually seen this. I just can't bring myself to be a dick to Emily.
