If you break Layla's heart you will find yourself out of ASP, ASP is Layla+Alexis, without Layla no ASP.
Alexis will simply scold you for breaking her sisters heart the next time you see her, so you will end up without Layla or Alexis... just a hope that you will be able to get Elena down the line.

Really !!?? But isn't it counterintuitive that if you are dating Layla then Alexis would want anything with you ??? I would assume that the breakup would be the key for Alexis to try to go forward with MC.

This scene has you breaking her sisters heart in brutal fashion, and it makes you a unwelcome person in the Monroe house. Alexis is not gonna be, "does this mean he's single now?" after you do that.

It's important to reinforce that despite it's name there's barely any Alexis content in ASP, it's all about a potential future controntation between Layla vs Alexis(something that is impossible on their normal paths).
So kicking Layla to the curb won't clear the way for Alexis, it will just kill ASP.

If you want Alexis, there's a "real" Alexis path for you, ASP is just trouble.

Brutal fashion??? IDK but MC was quite gentle IMO. Told her clearly and was actually thinking of her and that she deserved better for her first time. I wouldn't call that brutal, like ghosting her or something else. But at the end I still think that is counterintuitive that MC has to stay with Layla and then there is potential cheating involved in ASP. You just have to see the way Alexis look at Layla when she is talking per phone with MC the day after when they are in the car, cleearly there is interest on her part.

The timing was fucking atrocious, Layla certainly looks and feels destroyed when it happens and it absolutely ruins your relationship with her... you will not get invited back to Layla and Alexis house maybe ever.
Maybe the fact that Alexis had to hold down her crying little sister after the break up soured her 'slightly" on the guy....

Yeah she's kinda interested, tempted to hook up with him, but not ready to do anything yet... It will take further teasing and interactions to "break her".
And she's certainly not ready to jump on the guy who broke her little sister's heart.
Thinking that Alexis should see the break up as a "great opportunity" for herself is perhaps lacking in empathy.

And everyone should know that the name ASP is misleading, it's not about purely about Alexis, Alexis is expected to play a part in the future... but it most definitely isn't good if your aim is spending time with Alexis.
Luckily there's a path focused on that, it's called the Alexis path

He’s guilty. He did it in the WORST way . He said he prefers Elena. He could’ve at least said: ‘First times stay in memory for a lifetime, and I can’t give that to you in the way you deserve. It would be unfair to you.’ Now Layla will keep thinking about what Elene has that she doesn’t. Rejecting Layla in that moment was always going to hurt, but he had the chance to at least minimize the damage But nah, man chose idiot route
