The best Layla path is either when you can cheat on her with Gabi or get Elena as well for the possible throuple. Otherwise it's just boring, too vanilla IMO. Needs some drama.
Especially now that it seems like Nyx is going to make us choose early on between Layla and Erynn, eliminating the possibility of dating both. Unless I'm specifically doing a Layla run it's going to be difficult for me to not choose Erynn in that situation.
I like her vanilla or throuple route, don't need no forced drama just for the sake of it for me to enjoy a game

Layla gets combat encounters in the park due to enemy spawns there. So that's something. :BootyTime:

I feel like Layla's path seems more drama-free because some stuff fell by the wayside.

She had a stalker and we haven't heard anything about it for 9 chapters. I think the last hint he was around was when her hoodie went missing before the track event.

I like Layla as a character, but playing her path exclusively does feel extremely monotonous and uneventful.
Gotta mix it up some Gabi or ASP in there so we can have a bit of (evil bastard :devilish:) fun.

That's true, her personal plot got completely forgotten.

The one that made me cry...no Layla and Valeria throuple...
Absolute, complete, utter travesty... Total bull :poop:, because they'd both be down for it...:ROFLMAO:
Quite the opposite with these two, being on Layla's path blocks any romance with Val. I think it's one of the reasons why some actually miss Valeria's romantic path in early runs.
You say so as experienced Erryn fan , but imagine the choice from the point of view of someone playing for the first time. With all the incorrect information MC provides
True. We have every reason to dislike Erynn at that point, though the addition of Erynn crying when the MC is leaving could at least add some curiosity IMO. That things aren't as they seem.
What I don't like about it though is that it doesn't even make sense for a single choice so early to block off either girl's path. There's so much of the game left and time to spend with these characters. So no matter how many points you gain with them, they will stay blocked for the rest of the game?
I really wish that Nyx would reconsider and just have a confrontation scene when Erynn starts at the school if you've been dating both.

Not all drama needs to be forced IMO. You just need to flesh it out and there's plenty of opportunity for it on her path. It's just not utilised enough.

True. Lucas is a character that has been forgotten. I have a feeling however that it may have been him and not Zach that kicked the MC's bike over. So we will what happens there.

there is a lot of forced drama in this game though, stupidly written characters and so on.

I totally agree with you
This. I'm a big Elena fan but to be honest my ideal ending Iris and the MC riding off into the sunset on his bike. It always seems like they belong together. There are some great LIs out there which I really like but... Iris... she's the ride or die.
I hope Nyx includes the option to strengthen the relationship like with Nikki/Cara
