So is there no interaction with Erwynn this update? I feel like I had a save for here and that it would maybe be different after I did my Nikki save but the ending was for the most part no different.

Ok. It looks like I need to wait for the next update and NOT play this one... I can only hope the next one isn't even worse and I end up not playing this again.

It is obviously Nyx story to tell, however he/she/they want. Since I can't handle cliffhangers (my fault I know) and can't stand Drama for the sake of Drama (CW I'm looking at you) this story seems to be heading to the trash bin. I should never have played Acting Lessons, now even a hint of that sends me severe warnings to stay away.

I really am unsure if I can still trust this dev. From what I read on the last pages of this thread, all I can see is a "Stay Away" sign and everyone is telling me to chalk this one as a loss.

Damn, I really was liking this game... ah well...

How about you play it and make your own opinion instead of reading other people's opinions who may be biased?

Was going to ask that as i'm sure one of my saves should be somekind of an Erynn path, but it seems she's just in the ending scene for all path.

It seems i don't have a Nikki path, slept with Julia and screwed up he path, is there any difference between Cara and Nikki paths or is it clothes shopping in both cases?

Yeah same for me, those cliffhanger type of endings... brr gives me shivers down my spine. I know it's only a game but still, good job of the dev tho to give the players those emotions.

Kinda thought this going to be a lighthearted game all throught the end, really had some nice LOL-moments and interesting twists and turns, but seems it isn't.
The end of this episode and knowing that we ain't through with Layla's stalker yet may even cause more drama..

My issue with the Erynn plot, and I feel bad for saying this because I love and appreciate women, but baby girl is going to need a 5-star psychiatrist and years of therapy rather than a 18-19 olds' penis.

If there was an intention to have sexual buildup in her route its just not there for me, only sadness.

My brain makes me feel like it's exploitative pursuing someone in a vulnerable mental/emotional state. Not seeing a way the Erynn route can be 'salvaged' for me.

And yet people can be that stupid, or parhaps feel stuck and unable to save them from themselves. As I understand one of the accusers against Harvey Weinstein said he raped her, but then still met with him 2 weeks later because of her career...and well you can figure out how well that went for her.

I am aware of the loss. Mourning it actually. This was one of my favorite games on here.

I don't know if you are aware of how triggers work, I have to read beforehand to make sure it is safe for me to play. The risk to my health and those near me, if I don't take this precaution is quite high. In this case, it looks like a major problem looms ahead. I am fully aware that this isn't a problem with the game, it is a me problem.

No worries. I may find other games where this risk isn't present.

Maybe not a compelling reason, but love should be a sufficient reason.

But I would have also wished that the reason had been a pregnancy.

i personally didnt think erynn was dead, after reading all of this it changed my mind slightly but i still think she will be alive.

nyx mentioned that there will be a game over type of choice in this one and im confused which one it was.. i did saves where you keep cara or nikki there and saves where you tell them.

Doubt it, most devs don't have the balls for this until their VN is on the last ep. Narratives willing to kill off main characters GRRM-style set the precedent for that early.

Killing off Erynn would be a GoT season 8 tier mistake.

Exactly, not a fan... Like you said, even if she somehow manages to speedrun a full mental recovery through the amazing power of porn logic I would only be able to see it as bad writing.

Not seeing it atm, due to Alot of 'why' Nyx has been negligent of Erynn AND leaving things so messed up for so long.
