I thought the developer says that she is not a love interest
and that's perfectly fine not every girl needs to be a love interest but if she's not a love interest
why are these options in the game it's like showing a starving man a sandwich and then telling him he

Also about girl at garbage bin. Since we all know now that's Rachel the question is who killed her? Was it Ethan or one of his goones or some new shark is swiming nearby? And jokes aside but when playing Erryn route and changig with Brooke she did mentioned "hoping that she's by some garbage bin". Whether she joked about it or not it raised my brows. Could she kill her because of well reasons? This is really something i would like to be clarified in next episodes.

No, his mother isn't a love interest. There are certain options but they don't lead to anything, same for Melissa.
I don't know if she's doing it to purposefully troll the incest crowd but I do know she has her reason for doing it whether that's for story reaction or trolling I don't know.
I do know that his mother is not and will never be a love interest.
As for Melissa, I don't know if she'll ever get any actual scenes but i'm 99% sure she won't.
I do know that Nyx really doesn't like some people on here so I don't know if she's doing that to piss them off or some other reason. All we do know is she is deff not in the running to be a LI.

The Brooke thing i took more as a joke than it's actually Rachel, i don't think "dumpster chick" will come up again. Layla also mentions as an easter egg how "the police found someone behind a dumpster"
The Brooke one is pretty funny out of that whole situation though.
Iris and Erynn are half-sisters rather than step, withJohn dating Emily, the MC might be back in that "date your stepsister" situation(no stopping me this time).
John and Emily has the potential for so much shenanigans, Melissa meeting her friends new man, Erynn's reaction to the news...

You know what I wish, especially for a game like this? If a walkthrough (whether a mod or pdf) would just lay out the choices for a certain path or paths that exist in the game. Even the pdf in OP is just a flow chart but it's still confusing as fuck because it's all one giant flow chart instead of having things separated. If it was on a mod, I wish I could just have a setting where I click a button that says something like "Layla only" and the WT would adjust to only show green for choices that were good for that path and then do Blue for Choices that don't affect it and red for choices that end relationships or cause negatives. I get that it'd be a lot of coding and such but with a game this confusing for pathing, it's getting hard to know.
Like there's Val content in this one I don't see, mainly because I think I'm with Layla. If I were on the Friends with Layla path instead, I'd probably see it but I have no idea if that's true or not and I don't want to spend an hour fast forwarding through the entire game just to see if I was right.
If you play "Where the Heart Is", CheekyGimp and Ace built a system that literally lets you choose what chapter to start on and what paths you're on with the various girls. That needs to be more common.
I think the Emily Love points will affect the ending. More or less about how good your relationship is with her in any given epilogue. I also am of the belief that the Melissa stuff is just for sexiness and laughs because #1 there's no way she'd act on it and #2 she'd never do ruin her relationship with Emily or Erynn for some sex with a younger man. It's just a fantasy. Which is just like reality, which I like. Women and men can have plenty of fantasies, but unlike VN's they don't just instantly act on them.
As for the Kiss and the Sexy in this episode, that's clearly just for fun, and a call back to other things that have gone on. The only important choice as far as points go for Emily is encouraging her to go on the date with John. Yes that's right, Nyx is making NTR the correct choice to stick it to the incest crowd.

but he says in this updateLayla is acting like the two of them are only friends and she's even telling him
to ask other characters out on dates when he's only been with her and the game is still forcing
other characters on him

The trolling incest people I get, but she really shouldn't be mocking people who want walkthroughs when she makes every single choice a critical hit to whatever path you're on.

We don't know if there are bugs on a couple of routes because right now Layla and Erynn are both acting more like friends even if people are on their routes and Lexi is acting like they had never declared their love even though they did in earlier updates.
As for girls still being pushed, yeah that's for drama reasons.
There are people that are going to chase sex scenes and will probably end up in a Become a Rockstar like moment when they all catch on and dump him.
The other reason being Val being added so late means most people playing are already on a route so need a way to move over to hers so she's going to get a push.
About wt i'm doing one right now. I do think that it'll be done by tomorow with Episode 10.
