Well, I wouldn't say it is dark. But if you consider this dark and it bothers you up to that point, maybe this isn't for you.

This is nothing against you or your question. I just never understand why people ask that question. Nobody can really answer that for you. And if you played every route in the game, you might have invested a total of two hours of your life. If you are terminally ill and seconds matter, then I would say go spend it doing something you enjoy. Otherwise, why not play and see what you think?

I mean at this point it seems like Eryn is in some kind of unwanted prostitution/escort situation which isn't that dark as far as avn's go but I wouldn't call it light either.
The reason I'm asking is because game has genuinely left me in a bad mood. At the end of the day I'm playing these things for entertainment not to feel bad about it. I do however like the Li's themselves so I wanted to see if there's more to this before I drop it.
I'm also not asking if I should play or not. I'm asking if the story continues to be as dramatic as it is now so I can make the decision if I should continue playing because if it is I know for a fact I won't be.

This game is kind unique.
All over the place, kinda make sense the name intertwined. The trick is Making this story connect the dots in the end.

Drama is shotgun going in the front bro.

Is like playing gossip girl og with a golden dick protagonist and having teenage drama.
I give a nod for having LIs having more soul than your normal game.

Yeah that's kind of what I was suspecting. I get why people are into it because I do actually like the LI's as I already said but I guess this just wasn't the one for me if the drama keeps being as prevalent as it is now.

At what point did I say or advocate cheating in my statement? I did not. It's clear we have interest in other gals while on routes with Alexis/Layla. Also, we are laughably "conflicted" about our feelings with such. The issue at hand is that Nyx in her writing hints and teases the idea or possibility of maybe possibly having more than one gal with Alexis/Layla, simply by the dialogue and scenes as presented already. The idea and concept is there.

Yet, and I stand by this, if for all that was hinted and teased at for that NOT to happen, then 1. Why bother having in there in the first place if you not gonna deliver? 2. Trolling fans for wanting/hoping for something doesn't do great for possible returning patrons/new patrons who are looking for that type of content. Yes, this is Nyx is game and she can do whatever she wants with it. Same time, if she's teasing possible pairings or the idea of say Layla/Elena - Layla/Val - Alexis/Lexi - Alexis/Erynn, etc. and DOESN'T deliver on it, well thats possibly losing fans/patrons/money all because she wanted to troll or failed to deliver what the fans want or are hoping for. If that is the case and it does happen, Nyx can reap what she sows and risk patronages down the road.

I don't think anyone has said you advocate for cheating. What I said was that Nyx has specifically made it clear that choosing a path where you are dating more than one girl (cheating) will not end well. Perhaps, you see a connection where you can get both Alexis and Erynn in a playthrough. I don't see that. I see where Erynn is pissed off that Alexis lied. I see a solid relationship between Alexis and the MC. I believe there will be a solid relationship path between the MC and Erynn. But not one where Erynn and Alexis are happily sharing the MC.

I am glad you stand by that. I stand by this: support for this VN has continually gained members. Despite all the drama, the 'teasing', the what did you call it, trolling, her support has increased. What the patrons want is for Nyx to tell her story.

Explain something to me if you would. If the game makes you miserable, why do you continue to read it? Why do you continue to post negative posts? Why not just ditch it? You are talking about how these fans will just leave Nyx for, apparently asinine behavior, why not do exactly that? Or is your goal to try to convince others that they should be just as miserable about the story as you are? What is your goal?

Honestly if you don't like the drama so far it is only going to get worse before it gets better so might be time to find something else to play if it is leaving you in a bad mood. Once it is finished and we know the outcomes by all means come back and have another look as it may be possible to end up with some sort of happy ending depending on which of the various routes you are on but i wouldn't bank on it, especially if you are playing around with more than 1 girl but in the meantime play some of the other thousands of games that don't leave you miserable.

Is clearly going to be focused drama swapping girlfriends and losing friends.

Even in Elena / Layla is visible the jealousy and discomfort portrayed.

I could see LI having a sharing, cheating tolerance.
Iris / Val / Tori and even Lexi could accept sharing in some fuckup scenario.

Layla could allow Elena with her and maybe having a throupe.

We only see him in the gym talking to Val without MC in the near, where he invited Val to the beach with him and the others, and that was a normal conversation between buddies.

I can try...
First i'd say it requires for you to waddle through the mountain of BS her route throws at you innitially and not give up or start skipping/fast forwarding.

You'll eventually see that there's a sweet girl undeaneath that BS, a girl that has been through some trauma and is suffering... So appeal number 1, guys who like to play white knight i'd say, she's absolutely the single character that needs help the most.
Some will like that, some will see as red flags and avoid like the plague, personal tastes...

As a bonus because of past history those 2 have with each other, she just puts so much stock into this relationship, she simply loves to be around the guy and take care of him... drive him to school, cook for him, watch him play games, simply hang out in his room for no apparent reason or defined objective... all these simple things just make her so happy, as i said she's a sweet girl behind the initial messed up impression.

I would add something that simply resonates with me(and might mean something to others out there), i love "righting wrongs from the past", "recconecting with the one who got away" type stories and these 2 have this type of story, they have history, they have feelings for each other... because of some BS they split up before it could ever happen, now you get the chance to fix that mistake.

Last but not least... she's a slender blonde, i don't pass on those

Hmm... I think a Layla/Elena throuple is possible, because they're kinda gay for each other already, plus you know, Layla doesn't seem to mind the MC tonguing Elena in front of her... so at this point, if that path doesn't happen it'd feel like a lazy turn of events. However a Layla/Val? Nah, I don't see it, tbh... there's nothing there, plus it seems the game is pushing people to go for Val on Alexis PT.

As for the others, Alexis is waaaay too jealous, I don't see anything beyond a threesome, tbh. Iris would probably be up for it, but again, I don't see Alexis up for it, and well, it's not gonna happen with Erynn.

Nikki is also jealous as fuck, so she ain't getting in no poly relationship... but Cara... maybe? I could see Cara + someone... maybe Layla? Who knows... but the only safe bet for a throuple/poly so far is def. Layla/Elena since that one's been telegraphed already.
