Probably a typo. The 11.2 post on Nyx's Patreon says the same thing.

Because that is just for Episode 11: Release (+$5 patrons). No new renders, just the latest episode release for the lower tiers, which includes a patch for the bug fixes if there are any.

Maybe, not sure, but I will still update to the newest version. But if I had to guess it probably the same, might be a few more fixes though.

Is Alexis route required to go to the beach?

Yes. Either an Alexis route or an Alexis secret path route.

If you have a Val route, you can meet her at the beach separately, just the two of you.

I chose to not go after Alexis in plane and bar, date Layla, and tried not flirting with Erynn and just being kind with her but she still kissed the MC and the MC took off her clothes during that pc elf game thing. I thought this is supposed to be about Alexis?
