This time, i planned and went on a full Nikki save, and i have to say, i like it, but found it very dissapointing. It seems to me that Nikki and Cara are almost side characters. They do not have a lot of interactions and what they have is condenssed into very few updates then are forgotten again. I can see them very easy to let go to pursue girls the game focuses more on. Whats the easiest non douche way to break up with any of the 2 in most saves so you can move on to the "main" game? Can you have them only has friends, not show up at your house but still break the wedding? Or is it mandatory to break up?

Because they live in different cities, perhaps, no? 6 hours flight and so on. I can't say that there are much less content with them comparing to other LIs. First - large flashback where you setup your relationship with them. With the opts:

1. Staying cold with them and ending this story short;
2. Romancing both of them, forcing MC to choice between them at the end;
3. Romancing only one of them with auto choice at the end.

Next opportunity (if 2 or 3) - MCs visit to Andres and Haley wedding, where you still working on MC relationship with one of them and you can end it here if you want.

Then, if you managed to catch Cara or Nikki interest and make them love your MC, unexpected visit after training camp and again a lot of options and outcomes. You can immediately end things or you can let the girl stay for a couple of days. If you pursue other girl(s) then it's a potential future drama in one or another way. Depending of how you setting up this visit you'll get the 2 possible outcomes:
1. Break up at the airport, but this way girls had met their dad (Mike) and fixed things with him (probably the most preferable option, imo, in any case);
2. Established love path.

The next time they have a chance to meet is the next update and MCs visit to Nathan's place if MC continued this relationship.

Technically MC is only cheating on Alexis if he allows one of girls to stay AND sleeping with them. Because things with Layla is not on a "dating" base after the training camp. And MC is also not dating with Erynn, they are just started to going to something more than friends. So, probably the scheduled MCs visit will have a chance to break up with Cara or Nikki again or continue to cheat (this time including Layla, Erynn and Val).

I ended up (as the game kinda was forcing me into a Layla path again, even though i was purposedly gaining about only half the points with her to make her just friends, but i guess the breakpoint must be low because i kept getting all the date scenes, so i decided to try full Elena. Best decision ever. She really grew on me a lot with her scenes. How she also fall for you slowly, then each time Layla do something with you she gets very sad but let happoen because she dont want to loose her friend. Once again, when i got the hints and the game told me i was falling for her, why couldnt i cancel or chat Layla then, but instead was forced into more kissing and dates with my character seeming to not care? I can only assume the game script is for you to be with her, a Layla break up has to happen to have the drama since its the story's main script for her.

You're not forced if you're not trying to mess with more than one girl by yourself. Regarding Layla. If you payed attention at the first class (geography) AND stayed with Erynn after night club (no piggyride and train scene with Layla & Elena) - then you will never keep up with her love path w/o using cheats or increasing the points. You will be able to go to the beach with them, but you will always be lack of 2-4 or more points to keep up. She will not show MC her boobs, and after that you're out of her path, since any attempt after to flirt or "check her out" will result in losing points with her rather than gaining them. She will finally get the "friends" var at the training camp, but things are fucked up much earlier than that.

Layla (too childish and kinda slow for her age, no way shes 18) got lower.

It was explained well, why. She got almost no friends because of her mom being principal. And got annoyed with dumbass Lucas, who had took a joke and harmless flirt far too seriously. MC is not that far away from her, tbh. He was lucky that he met Iris a couple of years ago. Otherwise MC would be a male version of Layla at the beginning of the game. MC inner thoughts about Layla and her behaviours hints that he likes it a lot. Like "please, Layla, never change". And it's understandable, her playfulness, a bit childish behaviour and curiosity in new things to her are treasure. People grow up anyway, but do you need to seem or be really more mature than you are at 18?

Yeah, it's the only chance to continue this part of story in a plausible way. 'Cause taking a flight to Riverside every 1-2 weeks for weekends is a bit over the top. And, perhaps, this will be solved in one or another way during MCs weekend trip in the next episode. I won't buy, personally, another unexpected visit like the one after the training camp if Cara/Nikki really decide to move to MC's city, but w/o making sure in everything in advance and talking out things with MC. On the other hand, it ruining the cheating possibilities and future potential drama(s). But I don't think MC is SUCH a jerk that he would talk in Cara or Nikki to move to his city while dating with Alexis, Layla, Erynn or Val. Let's see how it will be handled.

I like the dynamics between different girls and how for example Erynn likes the Cara but don't like the Nikki. Then how Iris & Cara or Val & Nikki accidentally met. And Layla seen both of them (technically one, but she always meet one or another at school). Knowing that all of them interacting in some way and/or friends makes things so interesting and exciting

Regardless of where they live, i would have liked a phone call, or a text, some small interaction, to remind you that they exist. Yes, based on your list, they do have 3 big interactions, i never denied that, what i was stating is that with only 3 interactions segments in a 12 chapters game, it feels very far and few while most girls have somethng every chapter.

Thanks, that's what i needed. I think my mistake was going with them after the bar instead of Erynn. I'm only mildly interrested in Erynn, but if thats a big breakpoint, that's the way i'll go in the future. I though picking enough points with her to be friends instead of no interactions, loosing a few points on purpose by checking them all while not picking more than half the possible ones would be enough, but i will try the more starved points at the beginning since i know now friends requirements with her is pretty low.

That can be one way of seeing it. Yes, i am indeed much (much) older now, be with my experiences, it felt for me like she is acting more like 14-16, even including the MC if you believe he's similar. I understand also that they HAVE to all be 18 for Patreon. One thing also that feels funny to me, as a non-American (Canada) is: can you be 18 and in highschool wihtout being a repeater? I always thought of high school as the kids school, while college for the 18+. Different systems i guess, so my perception is different.

Your grouping of the girls is correct so far, but you are still missing some information. The girls are divided into two groups.

1. MC with LI (Main Character with Love Interest)
2. SC (Side Character)

Yes, i know about that, i just meant grouping in game, as story scenario blocks. Almost like 2 parralel stories with rare interaction between certain girls. I also thought i read many pages back that only Nikki, Cara, Erynn, Layla and Alexis were main LI's. (as in, dedicated endings)

Since i don't want a save per girl (which may happen over time anyways), my personal wishlist endings i'd like would be Elena, Nikki, getting back with Iris and most likely way in the future, a full Erynn where you see her through her issues, which is what i think the game cannon, if any, would imply goign with characters background stories.


I think my next try will be an Alexis one trying to make Erynn jealous, to try those vs inteactions you mentionned. Just wish the game had a "phone" or menu where you could see your points and your status with the girls.

INTERTWINED RELATIONSHIP AND CATEGORY TIER LIST

Inspired by my discussions with LSC82 about his Intertwined "circles of relationships" and minibaer12's posts, I DRAFTED an Intertwined relationship and category tier for newbies to the game and players who have a hard time keeping track of how everyone is "intertwined" in this game. "Who's connected to who? Who's related to who?"

This might also be useful to returning players of the game who haven't played for a very long time.

NOTES:

1. SPOILER ALERT: Knowing who's related and connected to who beforehand will definitely ruin a lot of the game's experience. You should have played multiple Intertwined paths before checking it out. Or if you don't like surprises, you can just take a peek.
2. It's a draft so it's definitely open for criticisms, suggestions and revisions.
3. I need someone to do graphics for other characters like Sienna, Brooke, Julia, Sha'Carri, Gina, Jasmine, Naomi, and even the men Ethan, Zach, Nathan, John, Zane, Santi, Madison Springs Old Perv, Andres, Miguel, etc. so I can add them to the tier list.

I should make a new tier RELATIVES - UNCONFIRMED and you're right I made a mistake with putting Elena in the track team. She should be on the Cheerleader Squad with Sienna and Jasmine.

See it in the way, that each opportunity to flirt, compliment, do something fun together makes you closer and hints girl that you're into her (like in IRL). Layla is attracted to MC from the beginning (read her inner thoughts). So, giving her what he wants to get is obvious way to get on her path. Her path is probably the most natural and easygoing in terms or conditions. Just don't mess with her sister and never team with Zach. While Erynn (love path) is the most complicated one, imo. She is kinda broken and need to be fixed. Alexis is somewhere between them.

Well, 18+ wall spoils plausibility in this area sometimes a bit, but at least dev wasn't shy to show us 16yo MC having some fun in the past. Erynn tells MC that she thinks Cara is 16 or looks like. MC is at his last months at high school, he still will be 18, when he will go to the college or university. In my country you can decide if you study 9 years at school and finish it there (usually being 16yo) and then go to something like "college" or you study 11 years at school (usually being 18yo) and then go to university. I don't know the differences between university and colleges in USA, and how it grades, so I can't argue or debate here.

The overall problem is that a lot of players expects a 18-19yo MC to act like he is 25-30yo one, most of the times. Same goes for the girls. The "first time", the inexperience and the things surrounding it, kind of "childish" behaviours and that boys/girls clumsy flirt attempts and playfullness are pictured properly so rare... Players demands the alpha-male that fucking half of the campus, acts like a robot, regret nothing and clever as Einstein. What a nonsense...

For Erynn specially it makes sense for her to learn of it, she lives right there... and she probably would want to hang out after the beach, she often does that.

With Val it can be brought on with trying to set up a morning run for the next days and the MC saying he can't.





Zane's involvement has been largely fan speculation.

Zane doesn't have to be a bad guy to be a rival, it may happen simply because we are competing for the same thing... The fact that he's ex-boyfriend of a love interest does make a friendship a little more difficult, specially on this specific path.
Maybe with time we can see eye to eye, or have some level of mutual respect.

But it's also possible that he holds some resentment towards Erynn for dumping him for another guy (that's how it looks like from his perspective).



We don't have much info on that night, we don't know if it happened at his house(back then he lived with his father and his sister, could be tough to work out), maybe it was a party on Ethan's... Maybe he was searching for a good place for it and trusted the wrong guy to "help him".
We haven't met Zane yet, but Brooke seems like one of the few characters that doesn't have unlimited money, living in a small house, sharing a room with his sister and perhaps struggling to rent out a room is not too farfetched imo.

Him selling the tape for some type of profit or filming it to brag about "deflowering" Erynn are all speculation which may or may not prove true.

Yet you're not working on currently available info are you.

We don't know if he was involved or not. So anything at this point is pure theory. So therefore, how can it him like a big whatever, again, he might have been in on it. You're making a lot of 'statements' assuming he is innocent. Given all the men in the area that we meet/know, that's a loose assumption at best.
