Man, the relationship with Val really leaves a bad taste.
Yesterday I was trying a solo path for Iris, which unfortunately doesn't exist, I got to the end of the update single, but with Val still interested, even though I hadn't done anything with her, and since the save was basically useless, I decided to use it for Val, but it was really bad.
Before kissing Val, she was really interested in the MC, always looking at him and flirting with him, but that ended after they finally kissed, everything for her is a maybe, she tries to put a barrier between them, makes it clear that it's not something serious, and the worst part is how the MC acts, my MC went from someone who wasn't interested in Val to someone obsessed with her, and he picks her up every time they're together, even though she says she doesn't like it, and she comments on it.
And the fact that she doesn't like being picked up isn't used well in my opinion, because she gets picked up all the time, and not just by the MC, and that gives MORE points with her.
What made me try this save with Val, even though I had given up on her before, was seeing how she looked at him, and flirted with him, even though my MC didn't show any interest in her, as I mentioned before, trying a solo path with Iris I reached the end of the update single, and with that I was able to observe how all the girls acted with the MC when he was single.
It's not really a problem with Val, but how Nyx used her and this change between before and after they kissed.

Solo Iris indeed doesn't seem to exist, to get her non-flashback scenes you need to go the beach, which happens only with Alexis or ASP.
The beach also allow you to build points with her, the points you get there makes her invite you for a future bike ride(when you are calling to find John for the Erynn case)... but on a non-Alexis run she just passes the phone to her dad with minimum fuzz.
Maybe Nyx should look into it, give an alternate way to get this bike ride together at least...
Val has been mysterious since the start, i'm waiting to see if Nyx will give her a backstory... maybe she's just constantly moving and doesn't like to get attached to anyone...
Maybe an ex-boyfriend gave her some lingering commitment issues...
Maybe she sees her mom's flings and wants to be different...
Who knows right now?
And then there's the fact that she seems to have plenty of other dudes trying their luck.
I do find it interesting that she kinda planted her feet and demanded that you break up with Alexis when you have both routes active... it would be weird if after this demand she keeps playing hard to get... i hope we can bring that up next time we see her.
On the other topic, at times i do feel a disconnection between the MCs reactions and what i'm thinking, he can start acting obssessive and attached very easily, this is specially jarring when you are doing your "playboy save".
No, shut up, you don't love any of them, you just want to fuck them all!!!!

Strange, I had no problems with Val, at all (there is no more content as kissing with her) and she seemed to like it.

I'm not that attached to Val's character, she is pretty, but other than that we don't really know much about her, and she didn't exactly have a lot of screen time either. If she's gotta go, she goes. Will be an interesting few days in the thread however

Val didn't spark my interest, but I don't find her enigmatic. From what I played of her route, I thought she is a man-eater and quite clever. After winning you over, she'll make you her doormat.

Let me explain. Have you read The Lord of the Rings? Did you understand Tom Bombadil? No...good, neither did anyione else, because he is an enigma, never supposed to have been in the story at all but was shoehorned in and insrted because Tolkien didn't want to waste the character he created for something else....he doesn't belong.

I admit I do like her interaction so far alot but she also isn't any special either just a pretty face mostly. So when she actually gets deveolopment Id imagine she be a good character for me.
