Most games id agree. Even initially I would agree with you on this game.

Maybe it just me but once I got to learn the story as to why Alexis and Erynn like the MC I can't. I can really only agree with this with Nikki and Cara those character do seem to fall for the MC rather quickly. Even Layla to a small extent too I can agree with this on because she did develop a crush within the first minute but after that not really. As her path feels pretty natural to me. But other than Nikki and Cara I honestly felt with the story telling of the characters all of them come across pretty natural to me as to why they like the MC

Nikki and Cara, although it happens in one long scene, there's a month or 2 that goes in that flashback... 2 months sharing a house, seeing each other everyday, helping them...
Cara in particular kissed the MC at her birthday party, before he moved in, so something was there from the start.
Nikki, things in common, working out together, saving her from getting ran over, helping with her ex... and it clicked.

Layla is fine, she's the young and innocent archetype getting the hots for a boy... and despite that fact that she's flirty right away, it took her a long time to commit, nothing wrong with that.

For me, it’s not realistic to have sex with Alexis from the very beginning. For example, with Erynn, it makes sense because they’ve known each other since childhood. With Erynn, it feels like you’re rebuilding a friendship first and then transitioning into a relationship. But then we have many characters who feel attracted way too quickly. You yourself mentioned examples like Cara and Nikki; I would personally add Alexis and Layla to that list as well.
That doesn’t mean I think it’s a bad game it’s a great game. I just feel that Valeria’s character is the best for the reasons I mentioned earlier.

Agreed on Erynn, she's obviously predisposed to like the guy due previous relationship, that brings positives and negatives.
Positive that she's always gonna pay attention to him and give him time, and wants him close to her by default.
Negative that she's a little(very slow actually) slow moving because she's scared it might hurt the friendship.
That, plus her history of abuse, makes her both an easy target... and slow to commit.
The way things play out make sense.

Alexis is a bit harder for me to buy too, he stole a kiss from you 5 years ago, he looked way too young for her back then, and after that you never saw him again...
She's not some innocent virgin like Layla and Cara, so it's a much harder sell that she's immediately obsessed with the guy.

I take that into account, and that’s why I mention that it’s a great game. I’m simply defending my position on how well-developed Valeria’s character is and why she stands out above the rest.

Valeria is the "realistic" hot girl, she has a bunch of dudes going after her so isn't dropping head over heels for anybody.
She knows the power that she has and plays with her cards close to her (awesome )chest and keeps her options open.

I hate that we had to be in a relationship with Layla to get on Elena's route

as a one-woman-only kind of man I was in love with Elena since the start but using Layla is so wrong

I just felt horrible like a piece of shit the entire time

in fact I felt so guilty for using her that I was on the verge of Tears

that's why I will not play the game until it focuses on Elena again

I have to agree with you, and this is the reason, besides Tori, why I don’t even try to pursue a path with Elena, because no matter what I do, I always end up hurting Layla’s feelings.

That's true I think the fault is in the fact these games take a long time to develop so can't really show alot of that 2 months. So while alot did happen in those 2 months I always felt like I wanted to see more to feel the connection between them especially Cara. Tho it could also be just me as well. I honestly never felt anything between them other than something that was casual something like good friends or friends with benefits at the most would have.

That's a great point about Erynn. I think she’s a well-crafted character vulnerable because of what she’s been through and scared of losing her friendship with the protagonist. The relationship with her is a slow process, but it’s rewarding, even if it causes issues with others. To me, if we follow logic and "destiny," ending up in a relationship with her feels like closing a circle that’s been there since childhood.

I'm more and more convinced that Alexis was added after the start of the Novel, due to her popularity, and wasn't planned from the scratch to be in the LI rooster.
so yes is unfortunately one of the paths with more flaws and plot holes.
Only in the higher chapters she gains carisma and character, when on her solo monogamous path and on "friends with Erynn"

A lot of people are ignoring the passage of time, most girls don't instantly fall for MC. There is initial attraction, but there is build up.

Cara makes out with him on a dare because she's attracted to him, but it doesn't escalate until they have lived together for months, Same with Nikki.

The only girls who really throw themselves at MC are Julia?(girl from class, friend of Cara), Rachel and Tori. None of these are looking for anything more than a quick jump.

I actually don't mind hurting someone's feelings if I'm upfront about it from the start

but what really made me feel horrible as I was forced to do intimate things with her as her first love knowing I did not love her

If you want a solo Elena path, you definitely have to break Layla's heart. The choice between them comes when Layla offers her virginity and MC declines which wrecks her.

Because it was a flashback, we had 2 months abbreviated into 30-40 minutes, but still the girls don't meet him and jump into bed right away, it might feel that way for us because we bang them in the same scene they are introduced, but in universe there's passage of time.

Cara was smitten from the start but resisting because this was her new "brother".
Nikki, did have things gradually heating up even in the flashback.

Yes, at the same time that there's a reason why she gets attached easily, there's reason why she's slow to commit.

The Erynn relationship is getting a second chance to fix something that wrong from the past, through trials and tribulations get what you always wanted/meant to be.

That's factual and well documented, Alexis wasn't supposed to be a long term character, she was going to be a quick fuck and disappear.

Nyx changed her mind about Alexis early on and made her a permanent cast member, after that she started getting connections to the rest of the girls, friends with Erynn, sister to Layla... and so on.
The kiss was added to retroatively "justify" her going immediately head over heels for the MC, to the point of lying to the guy and to her friend.
