You're missing gabiI still need to do an Erynn solo run, so if Nyx has done some more rework I will use that one as an excuse to see the changes.
Otherwise I am good to go:
- Layla
- Layla (Alexis Secret Path)
- Elena
- Alexis
- Nikki
- Cara
- Valeria
Also ToriYou're missing gabi
For anyone who actually did the Tori route, does she ever actually show a softer side or is she always just Tori? Also Tori![]()
Yes...but with a slice of Tori to go along with it. She does actually get better....though she still loves pissing off Daryl in the process. For anyone who actually did the Tori route, does she ever actually show a softer side or is she always just Tori?
I think what Alexis did at that moment was very caring and gentle, but doesn't indicate big prior connection, some people are nice to others just because they are nice in general. Not negative at all, by any means! Was just curious on a different interpretation. It wasn't directed solely at you either just happened to be the first one I found I replied to.
I definitely concur that the MC didn't see Lexi in the same light as I think Lexi saw MC. He even saw pictures at Erynn's and couldn't recognize her, other than her looking familiar.
To me, I think there was interest in the MC back in the day, just how much something it was is the question. It would be odd to go kiss someone on the cheek in a vulnerable moment like that if you didn't at least care for the person. Otherwise why have chased them, and been the *only* person the flashback to wish him happy birthday. Not even Erynn did it, in the scene we can see, and he didn't talk to her again after the scene, as Erynn said when he finally confronter her about it.
I still think Lexi's look after having her first kiss stolen was more of a shock or surprise at the moment it happened. It wasn't to push him away, glare, frown, but there is some room to interpret the surprise overrode it briefly.
But that's the beauty of a single moment in time, from the past. It's in isolation with a lot of missing context. Did Lexi have any sort of interest in the MC? She is clearly the quietest in the group so may have been really shy in those years. Were there any other scenes that could confirm or deny it?
I'll be taking my primary save to the end, it's Erynn + Layla with a side order of GabiI'm having a hard time deciding which path to play first. I want to see Erynn's beach date as I've been waiting for that forever, then there's Val's beach date.
But then I want to see the redone Lexi content and all of the new stuff on her path. Nice problem to have for sure.
I will play them all, but you can't beat the first time IMO.
She's starting to soften up but doing her best to hold up her tough chick act.For anyone who actually did the Tori route, does she ever actually show a softer side or is she always just Tori?
To play devil's advocate....as much as I like Erynn, she is a girl (and probably always was) who is far too wrapped up in herself to to really notice who Lexi ever spoke to and when. They are confronting and speaking directly to each other, no reason for that to be a lie, perhaps it's an exaggeration? There must've been at least a couple of "good morning, nice to see you" lol.
But nothing that indicates huge prior connection, much to the contrary, they never talk about any past events where they were together...
I agree with you, but doesn't Lexi reply to Erynn that that's not true?I think what Alexis did at that moment was very caring and gentle, but doesn't indicate big prior connection, some people are nice to others just because they are nice in general.
Some people give up their sits on the subway, some pretend not to see an old person...
Alexis saw a kid hurting and tried to lift up his spirits... her words in that scene didn't sound like "i wish you gave the flowers to me instead", just general "keep your chin up" stuff.
I think before the backyard she may have "liked" him in the way you might think the friend of your friend is a nice guy.
The only other reference to how much they were connected before the backyard is when Erynn says this:

That's what makes the flashback scenes so tricky.Im instantly regretting my decision to be a zach in my playthroughs.
Yeah, not to belabor this point, but if we take the context clues, the indication seems to be that she came across him on her way home. If she had walked the other way, that scene would've never happened. It doesn't make what she did any less sweet; it's just something to consider.
It's hard to say, but the indication seems to be that he was Erynn's shadow. He wouldn't have been there if Ethan or Alexis had their druthers. Erynn was probably right when she said that. That being said, that legit has nothing to do with the present, and I think even Erynn realizes she was being irrational in calling dibs on Mc because she knew him in the past and being mad at Alexis for going after him.To play devil's advocate....as much as I like Erynn, she is a girl (and probably always was) who is far too wrapped up in herself to to really notice who Lexi ever spoke to and when.
It's not a reply, she just thinks that to herself but doesn't say anything.I agree with you, but doesn't Lexi reply to Erynn that that's not true?
I thought this was one of the breadcrumb mystery deals Nyx drops in every now and then that later gets revealed.
I'm not a fan of the character(everyone knows that by now lol), but even i have to admit she was very nice in that scene... wether she ran into him by accident while leaving or she chased after him to lift up his spirits.Yeah, not to belabor this point, but if we take the context clues, the indication seems to be that she came across him on her way home. I also like Erynn, and i also think this is fair enough lol.To play devil's advocate....as much as I like Erynn, she is a girl (and probably always was) who is far too wrapped up in herself to to really notice who Lexi ever spoke to and when.
I mean, pissing of Daryl i can understand and fair enough.Yes...but with a slice of Tori to go along with it. She does actually get better....though she still loves pissing off Daryl in the process.
Well from what you two say then maybe i will try and give her route a try someday. Probably after I've probably done everyone else's first. Though I'm always kind of amazed that Tori even has a route. She's starting to soften up but doing her best to hold up her tough chick act.
Each time she cracks a little bit, she denies and says something bitchy right after.
One of my many favorite scenes, is when MC locks Erynn and Lexi into the room and even threatens to get them a bathroom bucket if they take too long. There's a lot of fantastic storytelling scenes with Erynn if you go sole Lexi path. It's hard to say, but the indication seems to be that he was Erynn's shadow. He wouldn't have been there if Ethan or Alexis had their druthers. Erynn was probably right when she said that. That being said, that legit has nothing to do with the present, and I think even Erynn realizes she was being irrational in calling dibs on Mc because she knew him in the past and being mad at Alexis for going after him.
I think what complicates things is there is a LOT of vagueness between the two. You only get what Lexi thinks in the argument, and what she tells you about the moment if MC is on her route. Erynn's retelling doesn't have the same details post-MC leaving that Lexi does, but as Erynn wasn't there that's not surprising. It's not a reply, she just thinks that to herself but doesn't say anything.

Of course her memory goes straight to the backyard as to why what Erynn just said isn't true... so we are back at square one, her only memory of him being the backyard...
I don't think it had anything to do with shyness. At that point, I believe that she was too mature for MC. If I'm not mistaken, they have a three-year age gap. They were not on the same wavelength. It's one thing when the kid is your next-door neighbor, quite another when the kid is a friend of a friend. And on the Lexi path when Erynn and her have their argument that Lexi makes it sound like Erynn didn't fully grasp some elements. I still think it comes down to her being too shy within the group dynamics.
It's a pretty strong memory to have. Sure at that point we see the cheek kiss, but later find out that MC stole her first kiss. It's not a reply, she just thinks that to herself but doesn't say anything.

If Lexi really had zero connection with MC, then why stop? Why would she feel he needed to be consoled, wished happy birthday, and then kiss MC on the cheek? Yeah I'm reading between the lines, but it just doesn't strike me as something someone with zero interest/connection would do.
In the flashback, the MC never says it's his birthday and Erynn never says it, so how does Lexi know? She can't just have guessed, and there's no indication they hung out earlier in the day based on Emily's conversation with the MC when he goes over there. If MC and Lexi had no connection at all, why would she even know his birthdate? Again, some of the pieces just don't fully add up in my mind.I don't think it was a mutual connection, but I just get the feeling that Lexi may have had some interest in MC, and comes across as very shy about it.
Who knows what the gap will be now...it's only about 18 months now IIRC unless she changing everyone elses ages.If I'm not mistaken, they have a three-year age gap
Miles...go and sit in the corner and reflect on your words.A less controversial take: As much as I'm not a fan of short hair, Iris looks much better with short hair.
