Heh, no contest from me as it concerns the vast majority of the cast being awfully immature on multiple issues, not just this one. E.g. more than once it is painful having to share the PoV of the MC when he acts as an immature jerk snarling at the wrong people for the wrong reasons and you are barred from letting him act in a less destructive way.

Possibly so then, as I don't use a mod (beyond URM and the Universal Choice Descriptor). I don't see how it would cause a choice to not show, but out of date mods can do weird things, I guess. But yeah, there's an option to either view the date or to skip it and just carry on with the scene which means you jump to the bit where MC joins the two sunbathing ladies.
Heh, nothing new from my PoV. I am quite accustomed to using mods or my own script analysis and variable manipulation in several games to let my playthrough go the way I want. One reason I prefer Ren'py games much more than the alternatives is I find this kind of 'cheating' easy and rewarding to do. Ofc I can only work within the scope of what the script can potentially allow to do, but it is often enough. One issue with doing it with this game is the story, and hence the script, are complex enough that to keep track of optimal variable control of this kind over a dozen-plus chapters may be a PITA. Still better than the alternative though.
Drama + filler + kisses on cheek = Intertwined. And now Ethan targeted Valeria too. I'm leaving this garbage before i actually puked.

one of the worst choices you can make man... she basically has zero content, and she never will. She is a side girl thrown in for additional drama when you find out she is the wife of your biological father. She is not a main love interest, and as such will not get good scenes or an ending.
That's kinda sad tho. She's a side girl yes but on the attractiveness scale shes a 10/10, probably the single hottest girl in the game.

No she isn't, it's not confirmed but it appears that Val is the daughter of Gabi's best friend Ximenia

don't think she is old enough either for that, at least based on the convo with Brooke about the show, she is too young to have an actual adult child.

If this was a story where I could sleep with everyone in one playthrough and get all the scenes, it wouldn't be as good. I enjoy those games but they are mostly one and done for me. Intertwined encourages me to go back and try again, over and over, just to see things I missed or look for wonky combinations of stuff just to see how it unfolds. I may not agree with how Nyx tells the story from time to time, but she keeps me hooked, I can't deny that.
Routes I keep:
Solo route of each of what I consider main LIs (Alexis, Erynn, Layla, Nikki, and Cara).
Layla/Elena route where I pick Elena but that obviously will need longer to pan out.
Variants of Erynn/Alexis where I also chase Val.
The secret Alexis path (my personal favorite cause it's gonna explode at some point)
Everyone else (Gabi, Tori, Iris, now Mira) I just one off at some point for the scenes, because outside of Mira, possibly Iris, nothing good can come long term.
Melissa I just see as Nyx toying with her audience. If a route was gonna develop, it should have developed by now. If she long term just keeps Melissa in dream territory, I won't really knock it, it's pretty funny.
After all that, I mainly fuck around and look for weird combos, like scumbag playthroughs.
When you drive to the concert with Lexi on Solo path, Dylan comes up as part of the conversation. If you 'Joke' about it, you get this thought from Lexi.

Writer's prerogative of course, but this is a pretty black and white thought. So unless Nyx makes a change, I'd lean towards a no.
I haven't done the secret path yet, as didn't really catch my interest.
