Val didn't came into the game "half way through". The first time we can see a render with her is in Ep5 (ingame Week 2, Tuesday). That's very early in the game. You shouldn't forget the early episodes were very small and Ep5 came out in Dec 2020, just six months after Ep1. So, I understand why it feels like that, but it isn't like that.

Edit: I lied. It was Ep5.5, not Ep5 and it was Nov 2020 (five months after Ep1). I'm sorry for this. I mixed it up.

I know not technically half way through, but she was certainly a late addition to the game. Plus we don't start really interacting with her until training camp in Episode 7?
For her to now claim the number one spot, is still impressive IMO. Like I said I don't even think that she has had that much content, apart from the beach date.

yeah that's why before this update I always considered her just a pretty face and nothing more , but she was slowing going into the right direction the 2 updates prior to this one.

Not really. We are starting ingame Week 6 now. The whole game is about 10 weeks. Week 2 is early.

Yeah, but there're tons of characters we could see in Ep1 and Ep2 we didn't interacted until today. That doesn't mean anything. MC is shown as a dude who only interacts with people when they're "forced" to him. He never approaches anyone by himself. In school he only sticks to Layla, Elena, and Zach. How should he met others? In trainings camp he was forced to sit with her in the bus, because Valeria decided to take place next to him.

Yeah I think it's gonna be either dead or something simple like she broke her phone and got away. Tho killing her will sure as hell piss alot of people off seeing how popular she is haha. Personally I hope any characters deaths happen because of a choice and you can avoid it or they don't happened until the last few updates. While we have alot of content in this game I still think there is a good amount to go when it comes to updates but not so much when it comes to the timeline

She won't kill off her most popular girl, it would lose her a ton of supporters on Patreon, she's not stupid.
Val getting hurt? Probably.

My guess is that Val is hurt, maybe at the hospital and the MC, Zach, Layla etc go to see her and then Zach learns that it was Ethan who hurt her and what an idiot he is. Then we will likely see him try and redeem himself, probably by undermining Ethan. If Zach helps Erynn with Ethan by working against him, the MC may be willing to forgive him. Zach is beyond redemption for me though, he can die.

kinda rings a bell but it's been a long ass while since I've seen that scene. Anyway, she is a really good looking model, wouldn't mind at least a short scene with her.

She's just a background girl I think. But maybe MC will talk to her in the future. She knows Mr Donovan obviously and because Mr Donovan is actually Erynn's ex Zane who's in the video with Erynn. It could be MC (and the players) needs to know more about him. Maybe surf chick with hat is the one who Nyx will use to tell some lore.

I think that she is actually with Mr Donovans friend, that we see at the beach after Val's beach date and we have seen and spoken to before as the new bartender and at John's garage.
