Personally i'm hoping she just turned tail and ran, she's good enough to leave them in the dust.

I can see Nyx making Valeria not attend school on monday just to make things extra tense... and give us a reason to go to her house.

I dont think (or i hope) anything serious really happened.
I already shared some theories about the Ethan and Val thing, but i thought about something else here...Val said she was going to her dads house, i think that maybe when Ethan approached Val her dad showed up and maybe Ethan knows him, maybe hes involved on Ethan's business somehow (maybe a "client"), or Ethan respects/fear him for some reason and thats why he said it could be complicated. He said to Zach that he would see what he could do about it and he probably will interfere on MCxVal relationship through her dad while trying to set her up with Zach. I even think that the guy who hugged her on the park was her dad..
And it would be a good chance for more drama with Val's mom supporting the idea of Val being with MC, and her Dad being against.
Even if her dad just took her from there and doesnt know Ethan, Val would already be ware of him..making it complicated.
The reason for not answering the phone, she maybe forgot to charge it (they were taking pictures and stuff), or was doing something with her dad that prevented her of answering...on previous updates MC already had trouble contacting her iirc.

none of the paths are safe to combine per se. You can get away with some of the combinations, but this is not a harem game and eventually those choices will bite you in the ass. Some already did like dating both Lexi and Layla. Others will follow. Up to you if you want to go that way. Safe bet is playing solo routes.

Yes, im honestly thinking about redoing all my save to solo paths, Nyx is letting MC fool around with multiple girls but it will not end well, their paths will collide at some point and MC will probably be alone. When Alexis and Layla discovered MC was dating both, he lost both... probably will be the same with others.

Yea im probably fcked then. First i was with Alexis on the start of the game but when i found out Layla is her sister i dumped her myself before either had a chance to find out because i liked Layla more so im safe on that, for now. My problem is that outside that particular family, im fooling around with pretty much everyone plus i technically still have a girlfriend in that other city and im fooling around with her as well when she visits. Its bound to all be crashing down on me at some point and i will likely either end up alone or with one girl that doesn't care or somehow doesn't find out. But so far i have been able to avoid any major drama

This AVN is really showing why heavy branching is something you should avoid as a solo developer.

I spent all day yesterday going through the different routes for the last two "episodes" and despite having that much time to get through it, barely anything happened.

There's no doubt Nyx works her ass off to produce this much playtime (even control skipping through read lines), but it's always like a puddle the width of a lake, rather than a puddle as deep as a lake.

Everything is so horizontal when it comes to progress through the narrative, it just feels a let down every time. We never go anywhere. It's like a little shuffle forward each time.

I like Eternum, or Superhuman's way of handling these problems. They tie plot progression with the LIs, and you can choose to be in or not be in x route.

I have only one Cara save for completionist sake, I've seen people talk about Nikki and Cara moving to town, it might be worth putting in some Cara + another girl saves to see how that plays out and how she tries to fight for MC, we already know how Nikki will.

You can't see all scenes in one playthrough because certain girls can find out about each other during the game unless you somehow manage to avoid it. Still sadly no you can't see all scenes because in some cases you have to chose between two girls, say Alexis or Layla, Layla or her friend (forgot her name), Cara or her sister etc. There is a ton of branching in this game which makes it impossible to see it all in one playthrough sadly no matter what choices you have made. IMO it's not a great way to make a VN but i guess it does allow for more replayability and some prefer it that way

It was s surprising update for me. Haley (Mom of Nikki) Fucking Mike(Coach) and Emily fucking Iris Dad. Adding spicy touch to the story.

Dude, imagine if you can get to a point where you end up back with Iris and her dad and Emily were to marry. You would end up with your step-sister. Not sure if you can even get back with Iris yet though. Potential for drama is cooking for sure.

Im dating Cara while also dating Layla on my current playthrough. One girl per city i say. Cara is pretty lovely and IMO she's probably the hottest girl in the game to me, but then again im heavy into redheads so this may be just me. But now Cara moved to my current city as well so this is bound to blow up in my face

what about Lexi in the red wig but funny enough on my first playthrough I was most interested in Cara at first cause I thought she was hot cute + redhead. eventually I did change my mind for Erynn but after many more playthroughs later she is Cara is just cute and not hot to me.

Thus far the sisters from Riverside were easy to keep problem free with other girls, they were all the way on the other side of the country and nearly impossible for anyone to find out about them(Erynn still managed to meet them and Layla caught a glimpse).
Now they are scheduled to move into town and start creating trouble for the other routes .

I don't think it will be the very next update because they are only coming on the weekend, we have 5 days of the week to go through first.
Once they arrive it becomes much more complex since they think they have GF status, will be hard going on parties and not bring your "GF" along.

The biggest one yet, and the best one (personal opinion).
Lots of good development for several characters, sets up lots of future events.

1. If you're on her path then yes, on any other path it was John who intervened.
2. Probably to add content during the trip for anyone not on either Nikki or Cara paths.

Last question. Is this a glitch?
I was on the cara path after his father incident you call and she tells you don't call here again. So I am under the assumption that arc is over. Then when you go to Alvarado and meet them in the airport it was like nothing happened.
