Honestly this is one of things I hate about the story wish Nyx found another way to do it. Or at least showed how Erynn tried a bit more to talk to him before he left , by either trying to have Alexis do it for her , get Mel involved or just skipping school to wait for him. Yeah I get she sent letters and what not but just wish she did a bit more.

Honestly I put alot of the blame on the MC himself rather than Erynn. Even at 13-14 he should have known better than to put her in the position of asking her something so important and personal infront of Lexi and Ethan.
She made the effort to write letters to him, then the little brat didn't even have the decency to read them but tore them up and threw them away. Even if she didn't want to be his girlfriend (which I think she did) they pretty much grew up together and were best friends for years, so I think that he owed her the common decency of reading what she wrote IMO.

She should have stopped him right there and then. She should not have waited until after MC ran away.

That's "coulda/woulda/shoulda" territory, at that spot she did what she felt was best for her friend, she couldn't know she wouldn't talk to her friend for the next 5 years.

The MC didn't want to listen to anything that Erynn had to say at that point. Because of the misunderstanding that she had apparently laughed with her friends at his confession. The MC literally legged it, he wasn't listening to anyone or anything, least of all Erynn.

MC is left there standing like an idiot while Erynn watches a video

oh don't get me wrong I do not blame Erynn at all , she tried to make it right the MC was just stubborn. I should wish it was one of those things was shown a bit more than told is all.

Who says she didn't try to go to Emily? We just know that his behavior towards everybody, including Mel, was bad enough that he got sent away. As for Alexis, she was just a friend of a friend. Who says she didn't try to go to Emily? We just know that his behavior towards everybody, including Mel, was bad enough that he got sent away. As for Alexis, she was just a friend of a friend. Hell, he didn't even know she was the daughter of his favorite player. Sending her would've done nothing but get Alexis either ignored or insulted.

I mean my idea of Alexis would clearly be a last resort type of deal. She did try Emily but failed my point was I would of liked to see 1 or 2 more attempts but I understand why it was a tell and not show cause of render time etc etc.

Well it's right there, Erynn does say "Wait! Don't go!" and if he had stuck around I'm sure that he would have witnessed Erynn tearing Ethan a new one and things may have been very different. But we are where we are, you can't change the past.
Sometimes these things happen for a reason though, if the MC and Erynn hadn't had their 5 years apart then things may not have progressed in the way that they are now on Erynn's path.

The damage was already done. My issue with Erynn is she should have stopped Ethan right there and not have to wait until he runs away.

Everyone in that scenario, except for Alexis deserve a back hander. Ethan, no explanation, Erynn for letting her friend be bullied and especially MC for professing his love in front of other people instead in private.

How slow do you think that all happened? MC confesses his feelings, Erryn's trying to process her feelings so goes watch whatever on ethan's phone, ethan calls him a dweeb , Erryn tells him not to call him that he says a few more things, at this point Erryn turns to Ethan about to give him a piece of her mind then MC runs off. This likely all happened in less than 5 minutes.

Also, if Nyx hasn't done much age fuckery, she would be 15 or 16 and the MC was supposed to be 3 years behind her? There's no way a 15-16 yr old me is remotely romantically interested in someone 3 years younger at that age.

The other thing that bugs me is why didn't emily think to advise him that would be a bad idea, and that there was a better time to do that? He might be young dumb and full of cum, but surely Emily could've at least tried to advise him on that.

I thought it was obvious to everyone that Erynn went to the MCs house trying to talk to him right after she was finished "talking" with Ethan.
The MC locked himself in his bedroom and Emily convinces her to not go in... those scenes are quite clearly taking place in quick succession.

I don't know why would anybody think days have passed?
