Softcore scenes by definition don't show actual sex, the characters are nude, touching and kissing each other... all the way to implied penetration, but we never see stuff go into stuff.
It's fairly common for actors to use socks and (for women)pasties to protect their genitals while filming softcore.

Sometimes there are movies where the whole thing is a softcore porn... there used to be a lot of those.
But TV shows that aren't exclusively about sex(can be about anything, medieval times, fantasy, detective, futuristic worlds...) can include softcore scenes.

99% of mainstream shows that include sex scenes, the actors don't actually have sex with each other(at least not on camera).

Ximena's show "Entaglement" (effectively a joke about Intertwined itself) is a mainstream show that has softcore sex scenes in it.
If she fucks her costar she does after work, not in front of the cameras.

I actually hate how drawn out sex scenes have become in tv shows or movies these days. Why not just cut to black and let our imaginations do the rest? We know that they are actors and aren't actually having sex, but it's like they have to act out the entire sex scene these days.
And no I'm not talking about porn, I mean mainstream tv shows.

Like I've said before, I find like 99% of harem games to be complete garbage. The LI's end up just feeling like mindless sex dolls for the pleasure of the MC with no feelings of their own.
In Intertwined messing around and trying to have your cake and eat it too has consequences (if it hasn't yet, don't worry it will) which I like personally. It makes the girls and the game feel more real.

problem with harems for me they need to have a good story to make up for the nonsense and romance of the actual harem. Since most of the time it doesn't work and feels very forced. I love intertwined but the story isn't good enough to make this work as a harem would make the game worst imo.

I played this one a while back and it was insane and honestly made me laugh out loud.
He had a house that he shared with two girls that he was with, then he brought into the house his "sisters" and his step-mom who eventually end up in the harem. Then every other day he bumps into yet another girl (I lost count) and then takes her back to be a member of his ever expanding harem. The other girls are fine with this also and at no point get pissed off about it.
It felt like I was playing Pokemon Go the AVN experience. "Gotta Catch Em All!"

im hoping it happens and think there might be a small chance of it happening now since playing the last update. Since you can pick threesome as a fantasy with Lexi and say you would pick Erynn and that would be your pick. Lexi says that is her pick too now it might just dialogue that means nothing but you have to pick the roleplay option to get the step sis / step bro roleplay scene. I'm not 100% sure I think someone said there might even be a variable behind the choice too. So i'm hoping for it usually im not into threesomes but this one of the times I am.

Alexis-Erynn threesome is going to be a glorious disaster. After the hottub party I thought that Layla-Elena were the ones heading that way, but it doesn't look so likely anymore.

Intertwined is the opposite of a harem game. There are powder kegs just waiting to explode everywhere and you've got to make hard choices.
