The Erynn letter scene for me this update was incredible. It really showed how much the MC leaving hurt and affected her. The MC's return letter all of these years later I hope is as heartfelt and emotional. The episode 3 remake was also great for Erynn and their reunion at the club, then her place after. Much better than the original IMO.

I can't wait for letter tbh. I'm kind of hoping in the letter the MC writes back to Erynn he ask Erynn to be his girlfriend officially and tells her how he feels finally. Also this is me being selfish I kind of hope we get the option to listen to or not listen to Mel and Emily's wishes. Cause I kind of want to say fuck it I want to be the one tell Erynn about her father.

I might have to replay that part of the game now just to see the remake was gonna wait till later but now you made me curious

I have a Val save, but while I like Erynn she's just a sometimes slightly too clingy friend to me. I don't have a save with her.

Yeah for me I never really saw her as clingy because I love all those playful moments but for someone that doesn't love her character like I do I can see how she would seem that way. Just when I try to think of how she is clingy hard for me to think of any scenes cause my bias and how much I like those moments that probably are where she comes across as clingy

Edit : actually I think I might have saw Layla as a bit clingy too my first time at the start might be why I dont like her as much. Can't remember

Well how I see the scene in my mind unless he actually gonna have Mel give her the letter or something. I imagine him actually giving her the letter in person and maybe reading both together. But yeah if he doesn't give it to her in person or she reads it when alone I agree should be done another way.

it is pretty revealing though, how differently we can interpret the same scenes based on what we like. I don't mind Layla being a bit clingy for example, that's just sweet. With Erynn, it might also be that the whole Nathan situation sticks to her a bit for me, I think that is the least interesting part of the game and bordering on actually making the game worse.

I didn't really find her cute until this update if im being honest. maybe once or twice in the past. Erynn was always the cute one for me with how playful she is or just moments like this. Yeah I know not really meant to be a cute moment but I find this one kind of cute and funny also scary haha.

Tho Val is just as cute for me.

I think Layla is adorable, just so much fun to be around and see what she does, her mistakes, her faces... just adorable.
Val is a lot more "oneupsmanship" when they are together.
Erynn despite being slightly older, reverts to a big child when it's just her and the MC, also very cute and sweet.
She's just so happy playing with him, like the poster thing, she just can't wait.

She does get needy and clingy.
Because of the history she has with the MC, i think she attaches too much into this relationship, she doesn't think about anything else.

They both get clingy, Layla because she's completely inexperienced, this is her first relationship.
Erynn because of her past history with the guy.
Sometimes one style may go down better with you than the other.

Personally i'm a sucker for both their stories, they resonate with me.

The Ethan(not Nathan) part should've been over long ago, i agree.

I agree 100%, this scene was so touching and heartfelt.
Gives me a lot expectation for the return letter, it can(should) be a crucial moment of their relationship.
Can't fluff that one, needs to be emotional and heartfelt too.
I've been waiting since forever for the MC to stop dancing around the issue and open up with Erynn, this could be it.

I like it for the trauma it brings to Erynn because I like it when my MC is there for his LI to help them or whatever or just really there for them. For the most part I felt like it works for the slow burn too but then yeah it's also at a point it's bringing the game's story down to much where it needs to be resolved so we can have the rest of the game going on dates.

Yeah I think if we are a new MC and we don't really get to spend time with the old LI from this game I might prefer a new game too but part of me wants Intertwined 2 more because I kind of want to spend more time and see these characters. I think Ive seen Nyx say she isn't sure if it's gonna be Intertwined 2 or a new game first. But I think she wants to do Intertwined 2 at some point.

I really don't like it and think it's the weakest part of the game. Ethan and Zach are simply just too disagreeable to be interesting as enemies, I really wish Nyx had come up with some more interesting drama for Erynn. I love the game, don't get wrong, but I play through those parts as quickly as I can.

Pretty much I liked it up to the point we do a photoshoot with her then after that it felt like it wasn't really going anywhere for me. I just like what it brought to the realtionship since I do like being there for my LI especially when they are going through some stuff. Like when he saved her from Ethan in the ally spending the night in her apartment , and going on the photoshoot date.

It would be fun to follow the gang a few more years, absolutely, but a new game might feel fresher and perhaps allow Nyx to tell other stories. Guess we'll see in time.

Intertwined 2 will lean into all the things Nyx has been teasing but pulling away from, only one female character from Intertwined will return and she's the sister of the new protagonist who we'll find out that the protagonist has been obsessing over. It'll be set up as a harem game with the protagonist thinking he can get every girl, but then it turns into an NTR game with the protagonist's new best friend either stealing the girls for himself or turnimg them into prostitutes to make him money because he says the protagonist owes him for the disfiguring injuries he suffered at the end of Intertwined 1.

I don't think it's the blackmail as such that I hate, shit like that happens (and may those who do it burn forever in hell), I'm just not happy with how Zach and Ethan are caricatures of evil guys. It's not necessarily the plot itself I mind, but how it's written. It's just boring, and being that, I don't feel as much for Erynn as I should. Idk, I have trouble explaining this.

That was my main complaint with the game tbh. I like how everything progresses, I made a comment in another thread that playing that game from the perspective of a new player offers a complete different perspective to waiting six months or whatever for an update.

Zach is deep enough to be somewhat compelling (A deeply insecure immature idiot but hides behind fake confidence, Ethan prayed on that and offered him a bunch of stuff he wanted and cause he's not that smart he fell right for it) , but Ethan is just pure evil, and that's a bit.. flat. The only motivation that's shown is he wants to fuck Erynn, nothing about having Erynn wrapped around his finger would do well for his career or making money, nothing that even slightly redeems him or offers depth, he's just an evil dude for the sake of being evil.
