This is the third dream and third time should be the charm. It would make no character development sense to continue teasing it as a dream. I thought it was a dream at first but I got even more convinced by your post that they fucked.

Nyx realized that we've figured out her tragic, sensational fake cliffhangers, so she upped her game to a more subtle, ambiguous one. (Respect Nyx)

As you said and LSC82 said, we'll be talking about this one for months.

Old players know that Melissa is on Nyx's LI list... It took 5 years to really start Mel's real route... Maybe this method wasn't the best choice because it seems to affect all routes... The player really has no say in whether they want the scene or not... I can only imagine that in the next episode when they talk about it, you can decide if you want to continue, and then if you have a solo route with another girl, it's over... Iris can also break multiple routes in this update, but at least you have a choice... So yeah, Nyx has decided to start breaking relationships in the last few episodes (including this new one)... I hope she has a serious idea for the endings and isn't just "crazy" adding to the drama...

Old players know that Melissa is on Nyx's LI list... It took 5 years to really start Mel's real route... Maybe this method wasn't the best choice because it seems to affect all routes... Personally I don't really see that players don't get a choice. You only get the option to "compliment her" which leads to the scene, if you have enough points with her. Most of us have likely been flirting with Melissa for a long time thinking it was all harmless fun, but this time it has consequences I think. I do agree though that I would have expected an emergency brake before the scene.

So from the info from discord a lot of changes to speed up blackmail storyline. Elena(a lot), Iris, Gabi routes got pushed back, other things scrapped, and a lot more info, not going to give all, join discord, it's a good place to be, and Nyx is great.

The really big one is Gabi to me. She is one of my favorite LI, number 4 or 5.(Yes I consider a LI before anyone tries to say she isn't confirmed or whatever, she is not-not confirmed, so until nyx or the game say I belive she is like Val and Iris) sad to have to wait longer for her, cause I love her a lot.

On the positive side, blackmail ending quicker means Erynn will start to shift more to a relationship and our first time together will be sooner, so excited about that.

Overall sad about no Bbq possibly(not confirmed) or Gabi content for a while, but glad Erynn will be progressing quicker.

The no BBQ thing does suck I was looking forward to that. Is his invitation revoked I wonder? Which would be harsh IMO. Or is the MC going to throw a tantrum and refuse to go because Adrianna was doing her job?
How will Layla and Lexi react either way, will they spend time with the MC or go to the BBQ? Will there even be one?
I do love the fact that the Erynn blackmail plot is getting resolved soon. I am so tired of it.

Long ago i tried to join the discord, didn't work out at the time.
These days i can't even vest time into Star Citizen while on discord without eh...
Particular people taking over my mic with me having little to no word on it.

Rather not go into details but some married guys know what i'm on about.

Depends what you mean by "nothing" there's a short scene with her at school and then a phone call. She got alot of content in episode 13 so she wasn't going to get alot in this.

sounded like to me we are going to be able to do both since the Val thing is at night and BBQ's usually afternoon unless it's meant to be a late night BBQ. That and how she said moving it forward doesn't sound like it scrapped to me

Maybe we won't have to choose between the Val date and the BBQ because the MC is going to get found out for not breaking up with Lexi, like he said he would? All it would take is for Val to have a talk with Layla, she mentions the date and Layla is like, wait a minute....he's still seeing my sister.

I'm glad to hear the blackmail route will get speed up. I feel like it was dragging lately a lot, and I was getting tired of it. Would rather want "Erynn healing/romance" route or something like this than the blackmail.
