I don't know how much time has passed in game world but a passionate romance between two childhood lovebirds reconnecting writes it itself. If anything Nyx is coming up with absurd contrivances to make it slower for no good reason, besides to keep players following the carrot. The fake Erynn scene in this update is the cherry on top :KEK:

They weren't exactly childhood lovebirds but childhood friends who have reconnected after being apart for 5 or more years. You can start showing romantic feelings for her but this is absolutely a slow burn for good reason.

My saves are so old, they may as well have patina forming on them.
With my luck, i ever decide to do a play through for old time sake.

And yet you still ignore Erynn is a victim of abuse by Ethan. And for the ingame time, there's even a screen which time and day it is before the most scenes.

I thought the Fake Erynn was perfect and made sense. As it really shows how unstable Ethan is and how he probably is the one that killed Rachael. Tho from what I read in discord that scene was gonna have the potential to be NTR from 3 different LI if she didn't scrap her blackmail plans to wrap it up in the next 2 updates.

Honestly I felt the Erynn romance went too fast in the last 2 updates for all her trauma I appreciate it but all the same it it started to speed up out of nowhere
